Analog Rytm midi notes

Hello Elektronaughts!

If you. please, Is the Analog Rytm capable of transmitting notes via midi cable to external synths?

Yes.

Each Track can send MIDI on it’s own channel. The routings are defined in the config [FUNC]+[FX] (Midi Config) -> [Channels].

You might need to turn the feature on. I can’t remember how right now.

Yes. Note, length and velocity only. Manual pg 43

Thank you for your fast response!

I have always used the Rytm “stand alone”. Recently added the Moog Subsequent 25. I believe the two working together will be a very good instrument for the music I compose.

Thanks again! :v:t2:

Only notes, no CC’s from tracks, right?

Correct. Note, Len (which I think is the Hold parameter) and Vel only.

yes, mono, but only over a predefined (lowish) range which aligns with the AR sequencer’s 4 octave setup

Midi note number 12-59 if playing pads
Midi note number 12-60 if manually sequencing p-locks

Hey y’all so I just started messing around with using the Rytm for midi sequencing to use in live sets and for some reason the notes are coming out like 2-3 octaves lower than normal. For example, the highest the midi notes go under the TRIG page is C5, but C5 is like a C2 or C3. I’ve tested this with my TX81z as well as Assimil8or with Locutus, same results both times

Has anyone else encountered this? I have the latest firmware and can’t find other mentions of it.
