I am not an expert, but do you mean like an EQ? If you select Drive you can kill (as in totally silent) the frequences with the knobs just like on the RMX-1000. Is that what you mean?
Made a superfast beat and a video because the forum canĀ“t upload more than 10 mb. 
But as you can see it works very well with Elektron and all audio devices.

I donāt get what this is for.
If itās a DJ FX unit, why not two inputs ?

I mean itās only effecting one stereo pair. I probably donāt get at all what this is for, sorry !
I connect all my synths to a small mixer, TX-6, then out from that to RMX-Ignite and then to a larger mixer, Zoom L6 Max, then to my speakers. That way, RMX-Ignite can affect a lot of gears with only one stereo in and one stereo out. 
You can of course put RMX-Ignite on Main out on a mixer if you donĀ“t have two mixers. You will need a split cable for that.

RMX-Ignite (and 1000/500) affect the audio that goes in to the unit and then put it out. It have two parts:
- a sample player, so you can play drumsamples live and record them and put effects on them.
- a FX unit that have a knob part and lever part for making all kinds of combining effects depending how creative you are.
Then you have a Release button that kills all effects that you have dialed in. You can chose if FX affects audio in or the sampler or both. The tempo is recognized from audio in and is pretty accurate.

Itās not the same, because an isolator allows you to cut or boost frequencies. But thanks for the videos, looks like a fun unit!
Think of it as either a master effect or send effect, meaning you either hook it up to the FX send and return on your mixer, or you use as and end of chain master effect after the main out for your mixer.

Nah, because on the Drive, it increases the amount of distortion turning clockwise instead of being a clean EQ boost.
Aha. I guess this machine is made for DJ:s and they already have this isolation on their mixer?
Yeah, it seems like something they could add in a firmware update.
It will surely have some new features in the future if it lives as long as the RMX-1000.

Itās designed as either an insert fx on the main out, or as a digital aux send/return loop for pioneer/AlphaTheta mixers that support this digital send/return

Uploaded as a musicfile because of sizerestriction. ItĀ“s a very simple 16 bar loop (the first seconds are without effects), then it with Ignites samples/effects and nothing else. As you can hear you can do a lot of little and IĀ“m not even good at this, itĀ“s just fun.

As a effector? Whatās nice with a RMX-effector is that you can play drums/FX and kill them with a press of a button. What pros does a setup like this have (module of course)?
