Nice setup! Are you using the screen with the laptop? May I ask what size it is?
I am currently looking to replace my iMac with a laptop and screen, and there’s a part of me that likes the idea of a really big monitor.

I’m an electrician. I spend my working life meticulously keeping cables tidy.
At home, I absolutely do not give a shit!
Tnx) It’s a TV 32 mostly for xbox, sometimes a MacBook via hdmi (1080)
Song mode is my friend. Easiest way to learn, IMHO.
this is the setup that DJ Python made his first records on
I made a cockpit, yay! Normally the modular lives elsewhere and the hydrasynth takes its place to to provide desk space.
Always lovely to see this level of care!
whats the white box in the middle there?
Avalon Bassline
As Joose said it’s an Avalon, sort of an “upgraded” 303.
We have a running topic here on Elektronauts
Thanks. Actually there are some bits and bobs still too messy for my ocd, but not bad so far.
Problem is I’m about to throw a grenade on it as I’m really struggling to find an elegant way to include a DNII in the near future, a bit of an house of cards feeling at the moment
Awesome. I think see an SSL Six but I want to ask, how do you mix? A few things at a time or all at once somehow?
Quite some tasty gear you have, sir! MiniFreak, Take 5, assorted Elektrons, Sirin?
Have you found the oscillator models in the Minifreak have taken the place of the Grind oscillators for you?
Edit: I didn’t just make up that they’re based on the same code, right?
I wish. I often think about adding an SSL Big Six to my setup as I think the weakness of my setup is my mixer (Alesis Multimix).
Everything at the same time. I always record my Tracks in Stereo. I hate editing in a DAW so I practice and record.
Thank you @RvdKraats!
Yes. My beloved Sirin.
Yes. This was my last purchase of 2024 (December 31). I couldn’t pass a 21% discount on a Minifreak. The Grind sounds really good but the Minifreak has Presets and a lot more than the Grind.
