I feel like this would have been my life had I chosen another route in 2010.

Looks like an amazing performance setup. Do you have a way that I can hear what you are doing with it?

Ah, remember when we tried to talk you ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ into it? That was fun.

Also I’m endlessly envious of all the people outside of the US on holiday right now. My job is pummeling me harder than ever. Can’t wait for Christmas off.

thanks. unfortunately haven’t record anything yet.im just doing few test at the moment. still configuring and merging midi assigns between controllers on MRCC now that I got a brand new digitakt need to figure it out to reconfigured the workflow.

What’s the point of having all that obsolete hardware in 2023, when you could get the same sound in the box, using VSTs?

Just kidding!!!

Just because I haven’t killed anyone yet doesn’t mean I’m not a man of my word…

You have a job. You’re just not being paid by a company to do it.

Finally moved the Push into the main setup and the MPC out last night, spent about an hour rearranging things and deciding on a configuration. It’s always surprising how much time this can take even when I already have a plan.

So the SH-4D is gone?

I still have it for now, but there really wasn’t room for it and the other gear here with the Push. The ergonomics of this part of my setup are much better this way as well (previously accessing the microfreak was more awkward than intended).

Interesting, I thought the Push looked odd and a bit uncomfortable with its quite different form factor.

I’ve seen that sentiment a few times. Honestly I don’t get it - it’s surprisingly tactile and easy to use. It’s bulky but it doesn’t really feel as awkward as it looks.
