Your setups [ 10k Archive]

I have the modular hooked up to a mixer. 6 mono and 1 stereo from the modular into a Speck Electronics X.sum mixer.

http://www.speck.com/xsum/xsum.html

Rytm stereo out (using to record Rytm onboard fx) -> Speck X.sum

OTO Biscuit stereo out (der OTO mode) -> Speck X.Sum,

4 mono 1 stereo out from RME Fireface UFX+ -> Speck X.Sum,

Speck X.Sum A out -> OTO BIM -> OTO BAM -> RME Fireface UFX+

Speck X.Sum B out (pre-fader) -> Analog Heat -> RME Fireface UFX+

8 individual outs from Analog Rytm -> RME Fireface UFX+

This way i can record in any diffrent way, multitracking and return from RME Fireface UFX+ -> Speck X.Sum for adding fx.

Im quite satisfied with this setup at the moment and it works without any computer if needed. So if my computer would die on me i can still enjoy recording music directly to USB stick on the RME Fireface UFX+

Cool. Thanks. I have enough gear now that I really need to start using a quality patch bay.

I picked up an SSL X-desk on Reverb for a really good deal.

However haven’t used it properly as it really requires a patch bay to get the most from it.

When I do though I’ll most certainly be looking at getting an nw2s:io for my eurorack

I was then thinking of using the modular as a massive outboard fx processor

Is the nw2s flexible enough in that regard ?

just making room for the Digitakt…

Nice, which stands are those?

is the Rytm smaller than a Monologue?

A bit, yea.
Nearly the same width, Monologue’s foot print is deeper though, thanks to the slim keybed.

Dimension specs for both are available online.

RainDesign Mstand + BlueLounge CoolFeet

Nothing vanilla about that - that’s great music right there

It looks great, I think I’ll get one for my DT! Is it sturdy enough?

Yes!

oh thanks! you might enjoy these then https://validlover.bandcamp.com/

Thanks, I will check it out!

I think I have an Elektron addiction :nerd_face:
A few pieces are missing from the pics because they were out for servicing, namely the SPL Iron and a warm audio WA76. Also not pictured is a valley people dynamite and drawmer dual gate/expander

A lot of awesome setups. Elektron gear (OT, AK) has been at the heart of my set up for a for a bit now but I’m new here.

YES. Are you building sounds on them or importing from a big guy?

what would be really great is to link a sound file to the posted pictures. like: this is my gear; and that specific sound I’m doing with it… no?

No then you would hear that 90% of my music is presets and loops

I’ve only had them a couple weeks, but I’ve been creating patches directly on them. I don’t find it too difficult, but could see how some might.
