What is it supposed to do?
Pretty much anything you programme it to do. I should try the VCV rack version of Teletype one day, but it is a bit… intimidating.

the way the user is shifting each sequence forward and backwards in ticks is very unique.

Man, I get why it is intimidating. But doesn’t it defeat the whole purpose of hands on eurorack if you need a keyboard to operate it?

It is very useful, but now the pots send some noise to the signal, which is a pity.
I have to fix this.
In the mean time, I don’t use it so much anymore

That’s a shame. Mine was sat unused for ages until I needed a small mixer, and now it has something to do and does it well.

This is lovely, but how come there is no cable out of this thing?
I mean, I see the USB cable, and the fact that the author says it’s sequencing “Just Friends” module, but I can’t seem to understand what is going on exactly.
i2c
The Teletype has i2c connections on the back for modules that can use it, including most Whimsical Raps devices as seen in the video.
I think only my Sweet Sixteen Mk 3 has i2c but as i have nothing else to connect using that method, that’s one part of the module I never use.

Exactly, i have Attowatts i2c2midi module hooked up to mine.

Yes the pots might make it more usable than the A-130-8. My choices was deliberate, my plan was to control the VCA with my Catalyst

I never use this but just because I forget how to use it. The small moments I was studying the weird manual and understood it, I loved it.

Most modules that I don’t use and sell are ones that I can’t remember how they work. Like any of the multi function / algo Mutable stuff unfortunately. No flashing coloured lights for menu’s for me.
Currently: Erica Synths Cymbals. Súch an amazing sounding and responsive/tweakable module. I mainly have one 6U 104hp live case that’s just too full to fit it. But I will not sell it, and I’ve sampled each of the crash and ride pairs and use them in every Bitbox Micro preset. Crunchy!!

my monsoon with parasite firmware is the end of chain signal processor for my synth voices, not only it can do reverb , but granular , delays , spectral madness oh boy i love this module and only 12hp
