Your most basic and most used sample pack

link by chance?

70,000+ free samples from Music Radar. Which should cover your needs.

…However, if you’re feeling like you need to spend some money I whole heartedly echo what has already been mentioned above.

Samples From Mars
Goldbaby
Wave Alchemy
Rawloops
Sample Magic

All quality samples, and all of them sound so good.
I also like Native Instruments Raw Voltage and Motor Impact sound packs.

oops I’ve got those, I meant the soul breaks

which soul breaks are these, have a link?

I bought the Samples From Mars collection when it was on sale and have zero regrets. You can tell they put a lot of work and love in their packs. Also killed my gas for buying an analog drum machine

Some good industrial and found sound 1 shots for techno and some good quality drum one shots.

Theres some good bread and butter kicks in this pack. Good for layering. Only 8 kicks in the pack.

yea sorry, I wasn’t able to find those Soul Breaks packs myself but I didn’t look very hard either.

I made this, using the lovely Digitone. And it’s free:

This one that I made myself so I don’t have to use my original Yocto when I’m on the move:

I end up using it in almost every tracks I do just out of lazzyness of syncing the actual machine hahaha. I still use the real one in jam situation or when I want live tweaking, but when I write stuff in the computer I end using this drum pack all the time.

By the way it’s free so help yourself 808 lovers

I’ve been located a dumb but efficient provider while looking for real drum samples :

Memphis drum shop record samples of a lot of their products on their youtube channel.

Maybe a well known one, but I guess that might helps someone’s beat someday.

Samples from Mars 808 and 909. Legowelt’s Vintage Synth packs.

I used to love Gold Baby for drums but I think I find the SfM stuff sit better in mixes with less effort and end up sounding about the same. Don’t know what that is.

when it comes to 80s-style retro drums & keys, i really really like Beatskillz stuff.

most of their stuff is ROMpler-style plugins for use with DAWs, but all the samples inside are just regular wav files that can be used on their own.

Reverb has released one of their large drum machine sample packs for free. I use it a lot, particularly the Roland, LinnDrum, and DMX sounds.

Probably my home made 808 drum rack, that you can get for free here by the way

I’ve been getting back into this one lately, really really great drums in it.

oof… yes. i’ve gotten a lot of mileage from this rhythm lab stash lately.

one shots from this kit end up in a lot of my stuff layered over breaks or just standalone.

Check out Reverb too, they have a bunch of free drum kits available.
