Your jams #2020

Hello! I’m just a newbie learning music with Elektron. Glad to join your family

A track i did a year or so back, featuring my Epiphone Casino Guitar, Cs1x Control synth, Stagg Bass and the beats are programmed in Logic using the Ultrabeat drum synth.
The video editing was done as an exercise in Final Cut.

Enjoyed that very much. :musical_score:

An improvised live jam I made last night, using OT, DT, A4, Toraiz SP-16, and the Toraiz AS-1. Recorded straight out of the mixer (A&H ZED14) onto a Zoom H5.

a little afternoon jam with the AR II and the Machinedrum:

heres an impro jam from me as well

Will be doing a live tech/house set on twitch this is a practice run

Received my ARII earlier this week and although it was a bit more to wrap my head around, I am really digging it. It sounds bloody amazing!

In this jam I’m using the BD output to clock my modular which in turn is sending out midi clock to Rytm, a clock round robin of sorts.

@MichaalHell well you just got an AR and I just got an A4. A lot more than I realized coming from an OT haha. Cool jam! Dark and ethereal kind of.

Here is what I made after spending a little bit of time with the A4 and experimenting more with my DN:

Funny enough I came from OT as well ( still have it) and I thought the Rytm was gonna be a breeze because I already own OT. It’s not that it’s hard to use, it’s just different.

Edit: really gnarly jam. The a4 sounding really rough

Fantastic stuff! I dig the composition, the sounds and the video aesthetic. How do you did the scatter rhythms? A combination of pattern chains with different tempos and swing?

Yea I guess different makes sense! Crazy how each box really has its own philosophy.

Yea the A4 seems to be exactly what I needed that’s for sure (sound wise).

Hope you continue enjoying the Rytm!

The scatter rythmns are actually from my modular. Squid Salmple to be more specific, going thru an fx module. A clock divider is triggering squid and changing algorithms on the Fx module. The clock divider is being driven by the BD from Rytm

Edit: thanks btw

Hey jams!
Really cool stuff going on here, very interesting how many styles and sounds we create.
Happy to share here, too!
Below you find two real jams and three set’s so to say.

All set’s are on YouTube, too.
Enjoy and thanks for tuning in! :metal::headphones::sunglasses:

Hi! It was hard to handle this video…

Procrastination and boredom took over me.
Same old Octatrack groovemachine, same dusty Minibrute synth.
That else can I do with them? The answer is just start to jam

After a few lost takes (because my phone died), I managed to make the video. It turn out to be a long fun jam so I included only part of it and other part was more experimental bleeps & bloops thing, are you interested to see it?

Octatrack handles drum one shots & loops, makes FX (Dark Reverb) for Arturia Minibrute.
