You didn't miss the SonicCharge "Vintage Tonic" did you?

Because if you did, you missed a really lovely free pack to the Microtonic drum plug-in. They released it around christmas and it’s really good sounding and very interesting from an “how to sound like a without using samples”.

  • Maestro Rhythm King (1960)
  • Keio / Korg Minipops 7 (1966)
  • Roland CR-78 CompuRhythm (1978)
  • Korg KR-55 (1979)
  • Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer (1980)
  • Oberheim DMX (1981)
  • Linn Drum (1982)
  • Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer (1984)
  • Roland TR-707 Rhythm Composer (1984)
  • Roland TR-505 Rhythm Composer (1986)

And they also now have support for skins so I made a pair.

Both skins are fantastic, thanks for sharing them. I’ve been using the dark one for a few weeks now and it really has rekindled my love for Microtonic…

The plugin always sounded great obviously, but to finally have a nice UI makes a big difference to me.

this little piece of another take on drum synthesis really rocks and is truuly as simple as EPIC…
and u really did’nt realize that while having ur hands on it…!?
sad story…

are you referring to my comment?

so no chance of getting it now?

It’s still in the downloads for my account. I didn’t think it was just a temporary thing…

The vintage pack isn’t a temporary thing. The thing that is easy to miss, if you ask me, is that it was a mail that I personally had in my junk folder for quite some time before realizing what a great set of good sounding presets the Vintage Tonic contains.

…yup…of course.

I’ve got some $39 software licenses for sale on KVR. Feel free to judge me as well.

sad comment if anything

…not judging…just wondering…

and picking up a license second hand for small money is smart…
and the exact opposite of selling it for small money…

and unifono seems to have a tendency of selling stuff only to regret it big time later…

which yes, makes me wonder, if it’s not for the blank need of money…
that’s the only good reason i can think of…and selling hardware makes sense then, selling a software license not so much…

Makes you judge.

Stop it. It’s rude.

…touche…ok…really just wondering…

“Wonder”to yourself. This line of questioning is very rude and judgemental.

I really need to find my PO-32 so I can have some sweet 909 toms on the go.

The sounds in this pack are seriously amazing. Does anyone know if the software used to generate the sounds is available anywhere? I’ve got some ideas…
