Well money is money… there s no little or big… 40 e is near a week food at the supermarket…
wav please
From Sonic Charge:
During the past few years I have been experimenting with machine learning algorithms that search for parameter settings to imitate any sound with any synth. Today I am happy to reveal the first fruit of this labor: Vintage Tonic .
So it’s not a product, yet anyways.
it’s a free update for microtonic, which means the po-32 is now a classic drumsynth.
that’s why iam asking for a .wav file with patterns and kits
hopefully these can be accessed on the OP-Z via the App ASAP

Honestly most of the sounds are pretty damn close to the originals, even the sample based stuff, so you’d get the same experience by loading actual samples of the original machines into the OP-Z.
Drum Sample is not a Drum Synth. word
No that’s true, Microtonic doesn’t use samples and the Vintage Tonic isn’t a sample pack. It’s all presets, patches and patterns.
I purchased Microtonic looooong time ago. It’s a keeper. I hope someone (Elektron hint hint) will finally make a proper hardware out of it! The OP32 is simply too flimsy and awkward to use.
Digitakt format would be ideal.
I stalk Fredrik Lidström for this ![]()
Are there sales on Microtonic?
…maybe thrown in additional 2x 8 voices of Synplant?
Maybe, I don’t know it so don’t use it either. Microtonic is the only virtual instrument I use
I sequence it with a DT and control it with an Electra One midi controller. This is almost a perfect hardware setup. One problem remains, I need to use the mouse to select the drum channel (I don’t use pitched mode) I want to tweak … because, if I use the “select drum channel withe MIDI note” feature, my Electra One parameter page don’t stop to refresh parameters value between the different drum channels played.
I’m looking for a solution or maybe a CC implementation as for mute (choice between CC or MIDI Note).
…or a real standalone uTonic Hardware…
I tried sampling it into the Digitakt, but it doesn’t sound the same…
I am all in for a Model:Tonic too
YEEEESSSS ! ![]()
Exactly
Have ya’ll dipped your toes into @L4rs3rik’s new Microtonic skins?
I love the dark one!

A great bonus to the new vintage tonic sounds.
And yea, I am 100% with @plusn here on wanting a port of Microtonic to other hardware. It’s incredibly good after all these years.
Something with at least 4 analog outputs, and ability to control the VST/AU over MIDI.
I like the silver skin.
A 1:1 UI implementation for the hardware should be doable too.
I wish it could be possible to upload microtonic sounds in the opz like with the po32!
the machines specialized for the Z
Lovely, thanks. Love the dark side
