Thanks man - did the same.
Battery was 13€ with shipment.
Installion was as you said super easy.
Everything fits. And now I have an original spare. Cool.
Any user samples that you add will need to be added using the app. The app should work on Windows and Android. I’m not sure about how this will work in practice, as I don’t use those types of devices.
Thanks, but that’s incorrect, user samples can only be added using a desktop version of the app, so Windows or Mac:
Content management on Android amounts to renaming and deleting samples only. You can import backups of Projects too.
Yes, sorry… I was thinking only about the app compatibility. There’s a lot of helpful info you might be looking for further up in the thread.
Just for fun (and to stir this thread a little): what color Seqtrak you have?

Nose to nose ))
I have a black one. Thinking about selling one of my novation circuits, just to buy an Orange one as well. The seqtrak pretty much replaced the circuits.
Does anyone use a Microfreak with the Seqtrak? I’d like to:
All without ground loop noise… is this possible?
Is there a quick way to copy and paste all patterns at once? For instance, I’d like to take all the number 1 patterns on each track and copy them all to number 2. That way I can add on to the song based on the number 1 version etc…
Update: Figured it out, posting for anyone with same question.
Hold all knob and copy/paste to pattern two slot.
An interesting factoid:
The SeqTrak, Montage M series, and CP88/73 all got firmware updates today.
Yamaha seems to be busy on the development front!
Yamaha RS7000 mkII, and Half-Life 3, confirmed!
Thanks for sharing.
Looks like they were targeting to improve live performance. Definitely helpful.
Hope this box sees more improvements in the future. Esp changing sounds between patterns on the same track.
That would be awesome!
I would like 2 more things:
-Piano input (chromatic) for drumtracks, so I would not need an external controller
-Sample record and copy it to a drumtrack from the SeqTrak
This would make it more stand alone
-Piano input (chromatic) for drumtracks, so I would not need an external controller
-Sample record and copy it to a drumtrack from the SeqTrak
Yes, these two things alone would be massive in terms of usability.
Quite a few places in UK have these on sale at £199, quite a good deal when compared to other gear in that price range.
That matches. In EU you can get it now for 299€.
