I like the feel of it, my only issue with the physical layout is the cutoff knob, no idea why they put it above and right next to 2 small knobs.
Yeah I am going to update today, hopefully it fixes a lot of the bugs

I have not tried the new firmware yet. But also having many of the same software problems. One hardware being the screen protector moves around a lot. Support said this was normal, but I also noticed it is higher on one side than the other and there is a line of transparent adhesive(?) that moves around a bit when pressing out it. Hard to describe.
This paid demo made it look fun. I thought it was made of plastic but itās aluminum. Iām disappointed to hear about build quality issues since this is right up my alley

Good to see Kiviak using their companyās strengths and bringing together various models of AI sample generation for the WoFI. I had anticipated this, and posted that speculation earlier. It just makes sense.
I think they may find that they wonāt need as strict a free usage limit, as time goes by and they actually get experience with the demand, given that it is specifically for WoFI owners. But they still make some amount free none the less which is good.

I know the OS needs polishing but the whole sample generation makes me want to press the āBuyā button. Iām sure these AI models could do some amazing sample generation without copyright .

What makes you think the AI models will come up with cool samples? Imo the chances are quite high that it will create sounds that we already heard a lot before.

Itās just a hunch.
I just ordered one because perfect circuit had a 10% coupon . I will let everyone know how the sampling engine is. Iām hoping I can get EPS 16+ sounds from it.

Iām oldschool. I love digging for samples and donāt like to use AI for my music.
But iāll wait to hear what samples other users will find with this program.

Does anyone know if I can assign multiple recorded samples to one single patch? The manual isnāt clear on how this is done. I want to run 8 drum sounds under the SP1200 mode as a single patch.

I canāt even pair the device as the serials not even recognised and when I message them saying as such they say I have to open a support ticket ā¦which is why I told them the serials not recognised. Not convinced by the texturer and one of my sequencer ābuttonsā looks like it wants to escape. Nice size keyboard though. In addition, how long is the battery meant to last? When itās running out I like the fact it acts all old school erratic and freaked out ā¦
I know you can save āsnapshotsā of changes you make to a sound and have access to the changes at the press of a button so Iād think you probably could v00d00pplā¦but iām not in the best position to confirm currently.
I just also want to add the memory card is an abomination.

Yes, the memory card is very silly. But whatās even worse is how so much of it sticks out of the device. Just begging to be snapped off or for something to bump into it hard enough to permanently damage the circuit board inside.
I really want to like this thing. But it is very hard because there is a lot of the Wofi that I really canāt stand. There is so little coming out of Kiviak regarding fixes and updates for this product that I donāt have much confidence that they are going to be around much longer.
I would like to add that if you never get the thing paired with MyWofi- you arenāt missing anything really. The website for MyWofi is super sluggish and very limiting in what you can do. Itās slow to browse and audition samples, thereās no organizational features for your library (you canāt even make folders to organize your sounds). The online sample editor they have is very basic. There are other online sample editors that completely blow the doors off what Kiviak is attempting on their MyWofi website. Why they donāt implement that instead is beyond me.

Mapping samples across keys like what people have been able to do on other samplers literally for decades? No you cannot. One sample spread across the keys only. Kiviak are well aware that this is a problem but so far havenāt really done much to address it. Seeing how slow they move with updates. I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
Yes, pessimistic I know. But it is what it is.

Whatās the consensus here? Flop? Was surprised to see so few comments on here for a sample based keyboardā¦ or is there another forum with more chat around it? Was interested when they first started promoting it but as time went on things put me off it. Especially the storage, memory card crap and cloud. Seemed promising but it never seemed to take off. Anyone feeling burned by backing it? Anyone really happy with it and itās a main feature in their setup?
