AE-30 actually
Looks cool timing wise but trying to figure how I could connect this box comfortably to the aerophone
What am i missing here ? The AE-30 has Bluetooth MIDI output built in. You can already play it wirelessly. You want to use something else instead ?
Where are you seeing that? From all I see in the manual, the bluetooth is for audio input only for getting music to play along with… MIDI is via USB cable + driver, or the midi ports
The AE-30 has bluetooth MIDI built in.
I use a WIDI Master though as I find it to be a bit more reliable.

As far as controllers with a feel that is quite close to a real saxophone 
the Emeo is a good option.
These come in three finishes, vintage, gold, and nickel.
They have also started selling acoustic saxes, and will eventually carry a full line of those as well.

I like the look and sounds of that Aurelia.
The piano-inspired note layout is appealing. This solves one design problem with the melodica - one hand is used only to support the instrument, so the other hand has to do all the work of selecting notes. On Aurelia the work can be shared more equally between both hands.
Ive had the Clarii Pro now for a few weeks now.
I love it, a huge upgrade from the EWI usb I was using before.
Its so nice to control stuff wirelessly.
And was easy enough to map the elevation function to X or Y on the lemondrop, should be similar with other synths i expect. (Bluetooth midi into ipad then out to lemondrop)
Been spending the last few days going through sheet music from when I played in recorder ensembles so heres a jig to hear how some of the internal sounds sound.
Theres an Erhu, a Ryuteki (the best recorder like flute sound Ive heard so far in my ewi journey) and layered a few takes of Shakuhachi (the same notes but different octaves)
Theres a bit of noise because I accidentally had the gain too high on my sound card input when recording. Not related to the Clarii.
