for techno, I roll with either my Elektron OT, Digitone+Heat or 4u eurorack case that has Queen Of Pentacles plus Winter Modular Eloquencer sequencer or my 7u case that has Jomox base drum module and other percussion plus another eloquencer sequencer. I can do everything just with the Octatrack and having a prebuilt library of various techno songs makes it painless. So if I was doing a gig whether paid of jam, I would bring my Octatrack and 4u case so if one failed, I have backup and can also do transitions easy.
I noted haha
@VNCT what’s the saw wave on the BB Micro screen? Don’t recognise that page.
LFO params: Wave, Rate, Depth, BeatSync
That’s the setup I am currently working on for live shows! The MacBook is there just for prep work on Ableton
Tasty!
The T-8 next to the Perkons is hilarious. such a size difference
More tech-house than techno but this is what I’m currently using to play live. The Doepfer Pocket Control has been a game changer for me with the Octatrack (once I could get the programmer software to work!)
+1 for the Implexus! Such a great synth!
Yes! The Implexus-Hapax combo has been a game changer for me. I’ll post some recordings later this week!
Mc 707
Tt 303
1010 blackbox
TR-8S
Octatrack mk2
Mididrome
That’s our small rig.
Midronome sends clock.
Mc 707 has some synth sequnces, but is mainly used to send midi sequnces to the 303.
Everything runs into the mc 707, and it’s used as a performance mixer.
1010 blackbox is loaded with samples that I can trigger at will.
Tr8s is running into the OT , and the OT is loaded with breaks, and all the drums are sampled internally, to make transitions into new drum grooves much more fluid.
The bigger rig consists of another OT mk2, syntakt, Zen Delay, model Cycles, Dfam and an avalanche reverb pedal.
Upcoming gigs include support for Leeroy Thornhill, A Guy Called Gerald, Victor Simonelli, and Mark Archer.
Cheers.
