What's your TECHNO setup

ASM Hydrasynth has three oscillators. I have no personal experience with one.

Monosynth or polysynth?

Analog Four?
Waldorf Pulse 2?

Either Peter I’m looking for 3 OSC stabs mainly something dedicated to just chords, looked at a Roland SE02 but damn them knobs are close for my fingers haha.

MFB Dominion Club has 3 oscillators, I think.

ASM Hydrasynth is looking favourite so far, already owned one but always regretted selling it. Might be a good investment for a minimal setup.

Increase BPM by 20,30 imho.

Nice! I swear two Elektron boxes is the ideal live setup. But if live sets ever return, I couldn’t not take a 303 + RAT for screaming acid breakdowns. Just couldn’t!

Haha, fully agree with you. I’m really lusting over a Rytm to replace my M:S at the moment. Seems like it would be able to do the same plus a whole lot more.
And I also got a Typhon and I can’t see how I will not add it to the setup.

Those little boxes are really pushing the double negative.

Yes on that there’s also the Quadrantid Swarm that looks amazing for a small techno setup. “Luckily” hard-ish to get hold of :slightly_smiling_face:

Behringer Model D?

Agreed. The step LFOs are quite handy for techno as well. Also, while there are three oscillators, you don’t often need all three for a gigantic sound. Toss a bit of mutation on one and you’re almost there.

Analog Four and Novation Peak would be at the top of my list. If you want something that covers a lot more territory (albeit more expensive) and ‘analog’ doesn’t matter, then Waldorf Iridium would be it.
