Set up TidalCycles to control the Digitone. I figure if it isn’t selling quickly, I might as well explore another possible direction. Early in the game, but so far, so fun

No, since 1,5 year or so. Coming from Mackie 16 chan mixer. Love it. It s made for performing. Sounds great. All stereo I/O and USB soundcard to boot.
Drawback is the low channel count but that keeps me from buying more stuff. Less is more!
It seriously upped my game at improvisation and sound sculpting.

Awesome. Plus the less is more approach makes sense anyway so sounds perfect! I won’t change my OT for it but it’s cool to be aware of workflows either way. Does it have a midi synced/Quantized looper?
No, it s analog, except for the usb audio interface. But through that it s easy peasy to integrate a laptop with Ableton, or an iPad, for that purpose.

No, one of the channel input selectors has to be switched to USB if you want to stream from laptop. The 6 main channels can all receive from USB.

Just looked it up to check: it’s got quite a lot of inputs anyways, with these six. Four channels plus the two return channels. All stereo, I just realize. Looks nice!
And there s 2 extra stereo return channels on top of that, but these 2 don t have eq, sends, etc.
