and those chunky desktop computer keyboard-style keys. love those! same reason why I love the look of the QY700.
I need another drum machine/synth like I need a hole in the head, but a Vermona DRM1 Mk4 popped up second hand for ā¬375 five minutes from where I live, so I jumped on it.
Been intrigued by this one for years. Just MIDI, no trigger inputs, which was what I was holding out for, but for that price Iām not complaining.
Nice, I scored a MKIII DRM last year for $300.
Poweful machines, do wish there was some sort of memory/recall for sounds, but guess you could take a picture or mark with some tape.
For me, the DRM1 falls in the ātwist knobs and keep recordingā category and will (hopefully) fit well with stuff like my Moog Grandmother and other similar āold schoolā synths. No memory required there.
Groovy new width/height adjustable DJ table for my Twin Darth boxes. Just missing Heat FX+. Definitely getting a new base with wheels. 3 PD power banks make it completely mobile so Iāll be able to easily take it up on my rooftop deck for parties/performances. Collapsable base for easy packing/transport.
Damn that looks pretty fresh! Is it sturdy enough? Like could it handle someone bumping into it? I like that you get so much real estate on the deck part, and then still have the adjustable platform above. Did the packaging tell you the tableās weight unloaded?
About 32 lbs. Itās very sturdy and breaks down quickly. Has a built in handle. The vents and steel construction make cable management easy. Magnet strips and Velcro ties will keep it tidy. Laptop riser for the extra level so plenty of space for up to a 49 key. Table adjusts out to 48ā.
Thatās actually pretty solid. Whatās the name of the manufacturer?
Does it say what weight the elevated shelf is rated to hold?
Liquid Stands. They have a bunch on Amazon. I recommend going with the options with wheels vs X base as pictured above unless you know you wonāt be moving it much. There are cheaper options but the tabletops were smaller. Never heard of this manufacturer but Iām a fan now.
It looks really good in person.
So it does not include the riser part on top?

Nope. Thatās a laptop riser I got for couch work but itās great for table use. Even has a built in fan for gear that heats up. Iām 6ā5 so even at max height the table is too low for me to stand upright while performing. Now I can adjust gear to any height or angle also freeing up space beneath. You have to zip tie it to the table for extra stability.
im loving black aluminum. got my new M8 and my Vessel Pipe looking like a couple of buddies. i love the chunk and heft both of these items posses, i like dense stuff.
Welll I was having a Monday at work and impulse took over and I ordered this
Oh well time to go list something so I donāt feel guilty
I got the Adjustable Z-Stand with wheels for my keyboard and itās really great. I was put off by their branding but the quality is there and well priced too.
What?: Yamaha DX9
Whatfor:? Installing the DX7/9 EPROM by ajxs to see and hear how much DX7 is in that
comments on DX9 and common conceptions thereof
āletās make a cheaper version of the DX7, with worse keybed but letās also cripple functionality and compatibility and make it not too cheap, so nobody will buy it except when DX7 is oopā project by Yamaha.
Thank you so much ajxs!!
This looks terribly familiar but - what is it?
ModelQ2 from destiny plus⦠its pretty new I think but I found a used one. They make other stuff of a similar style/vibe though.
Great stuff. If I may ask, how much was it?
oh why did I have to click into this thread?! I was completely gas-free and now I am not⦠Iām going to have to keep an eye out for this unit. I love weird sound things, I like self-contained devices and this is a weird, self-contained sound device thing!
