honestly long time I’ve wanted to get it but was a bit expensive, discovered that it’s 50% off for Suite owners so insta grabbed it, I’ve been running the free one for about a week now and I can already see the power but can’t save patches so started to be a bit annoying

I have 8. the upgrade, I think, I something like $270. $270 I dont have to spend on stuff like that

if I had the 8 I’m not sure I would’ve upgraded, 8 seems to have the bulk of features needed to pretty much everything, the thing that really caught my eye are the new Jitter stuff so figured it’s a good time to switch from TD to Max

I’ve fed it some Amen’s and it sounds nice and heavy :grinning:

I bought and MPC 1000 a while ago but I was needing a new right side PCM board and buttons for it, and it was going to cost nearly as much as I paid for it on eBay to order from MPC stuff. More into Renoise ATM so figured I’d go with an s series

Did you find one with the EB-16? I didn’t but it was a good price - good condition and Gotek already installed.

Yes sir, EB16 included  seems like I’ve purchased it to some serious producer who took great care of the unit, and did everything to upgrade this mid 90’ instrument to today standard (New screen, EB16, last OS, Ram max and tiny SCSI/SD reader) for a very good price

Very glad to hear you already start feeding it and you appreciate what comes out of it :hugs:

New in the sense that I just finished building it!

I’ve got two 5U Klee kits I’ve been procrastinating for years, despite the fact that Scott Stites is one of my closest friends and more than willing to help me troubleshoot and calibrate the things. :flushed:

A Digitone II

I sold my OG DN a few months ago since I kind of anticipated the release of a new one :relaxed:

Intentions, to tone.

Nice one. I built one too, but then stupidly placed it in a skiff with other stuff and underpowered it. The right side works 100%, but the left definitely has a fried component somewhere. One of these days I’ll order some new ICs and fix it. Sure was a fun build though.

Haha, talk about taking it to the source.

successful thrift haul, found a bunch of new tapes to tape over with my tune compilations. ive been calling it reverse sampling, listen to a little bit of the tape, stop it after a phrase that i find funny or interesting, record one of my tunes, drop back into the tape, rinse and repeat.

I know, I know. I’ll get to them. I cobbled together .com panel graphics for them ages ago and have a handful of 8U panels, but I’ve never gotten around to printing and drilling them. I did build Scott’s Appendage ribbon controller, which did indeed require some calibration assistance on his part.

He has some lovely designs. His chorus is among the best I’ve ever heard. :exploding_head:
