nice box!
I was utterly shocked when he presented it to me. Weâd never discussed the enclosure and Iâd have been happy with a cheap, unpainted stompbox enclosure. I did not expect anything like this. The matching Hammond enclosure was a great choice, and the era-appropriate power indicator lamp and the name badge are lovely. He also used a cinch-jones socket around back so that the original breakout cable could be swapped back into use. The new sync input on the back of the 1125 can be used simultaneously with the internal clock for asymmetrical rhythms - very cool. I couldnât be happier.
I actually got a little box too, not as cool as yours but still pretty cool!
Intentions are filtration, modulation, saturation and self-oscillation!
sounds like a guy that doesnât do his job just for money, but for a passion. rare now a days! beautiful build/upgrades
It doesnât seem much but two PSU for my Golden Age Project PRE-73 pre-amps. Itâs been years that these two were without their PSU (they died almost at the same time), me being lazy to search for replacement.
I thought my Live sound was good but with these pre-amps as end of chain devices, it has improved significantly. It was the missing link.
Never really been into heat, but couldnât help myself when this brand new AH+FX popped up at 700 points on reverb.
Plan : first, pass old songs into it, to heat them up. Second sequence it like crazy with other boxes (Octatrack or Mnm)
love mine as really gets a great sound for techno from my otherwise bland Digitone.
Another new AH+FX owner here
Popped up used for a good price.
Intention:
Tracking and beefing up the on-the-go devices that I use a lot away from the studio (Model:Cycles, Volca Drum a.o) and possibly as end-of-chain for a live setup Iâm thinking about ATM.
Also got a Roland JV-2080 with SR-JV80-08 card (KEYBOARDS OF THE 60âs & 70âs) installed plus rack for cheap.
Intention:
Pads/fx. Been wanting some 90s ROMpler flavour for a while.
Lovely! AH
plus your Rolandâs rack sampled will be awesome
very nice indeed.
I am going to get a jv1080 or 2080 sometime. eyed them for a while and love the sound.
I got a heat mkII recently and love it, the +FX certainly looks appealing, for now though Iâm very content getting into the mkII.
Xena by Michigan Synth Works is a beast! A modernized Ambika, it is probably the best bang-for-the-buck current synth. Iâm controlling it from the DT2 via midi.
A patchbay would be useful and I have a few spare cables.
Patchbay arrives.
HmmâŚI just need to sit down for 10 minutes and figure out what cables I actually need.
glances guiltily at it for months
Great my cables have arrived!
Now I just need to plug them in post a picture on Elektronauts
Nice! Thatâs a really cool instrument! I love nice self-contained, thought-out homogenous modulars!
Intention: Drilling holes in concrete.
(which I did last night for a couple of hours) My arms and hands still felt like they were shaking for an hour afterwards.

Have you ever tried drilling in tiles?
I did to mount a fixture in my bathroom once.
Itâs exhausting as well, also makes the worst dust, and there is the additional thrill from the risk of splitting the tile. The drill bit reaches quite a temperature, too
Though you use a regular driller for tiles âŚ
I havenât done tile. However, we have someone remodeling one of the bathrooms right now and building a new tile shower. Hopefully I never need to drill holes in it.
Looks beautiful. Canât wait for Behringer clone of this.
i wonder how you could achieve the same kind of system as a tile saw where its constantly getting the area wet to keep down the dust, ive been so interested in wet tile saws they look so odd in action. we need wet tile drill squirt gun combos
To the tune of âRed Frame White Lightâ, by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, from their first album, 1980
