Bought a couple of ”Yamaha” branded coasters (@Kegeratorz no lack of coasters in my setup anymore!) or are they answering machines idk
That’s what I’m talking about! Hate to see a piece of furniture get ruined!
I’ve been on the hunt for a Fender Custom Shop Bass VI for the past year. I found a used '24 in Sherwood Green Metallic (which is my favorite color for an offset guitar). It’s got a nice beefy neck too which is a big plus.

Someone likes tempting fate! ![]()
Cool pedal on top of the rex50. Stereo ins?
Oh, a new color. ![]()
It is still Soviet MiG Cockpit Blue, my lighting is just very sloppy.
I knew it, just goofing around. It would look awesome in that « yellow-green » color.
Hell yes! you found your box. The ultimate talking-Jetsons-drum-machine …
Bought a refurbished OSMOSE in the Expressive E sale
intention:
make people entangled
wow i love everything about this post. the synth, those wooden side cheeks (where did you get those?), the chair, the mixer, the mechanical keyboar, the practical eris monitors. very classy and sensible setup
something about this image makes me feel good
Filled that missing gap.
Wood sides for TEO were from synthcraft. He did a solid job.
Perkons is fulfilling my intentions well.
The digitakt is likely on it’s way out. Something about the Perkons takes me straight to recording and putting together something with my other instruments rather than fucking around trying to build a whole song on a single box.
Some random shit. Sloppy but the promise is there for how I want to work.
Yes! All boxes on my wishlist are checked! Well…for the expensive gear anyway, still might get some small desktop monitors, but anyway…received the Heat +FX this day. I was working so I didn’t have much time except for a short session of minor clueless button pressing and knob twisting, but already it gave me some impressive and moody effects. I had a few bouts of doubt, but now I’ve heard it I’m glad it’s here. Doom spending has concluded, now continue getting better and better at making music ![]()
Sounds familiar
Yeah, it usually goes from ‘Ok, seen that on Loopop’s video, I’ve got this’ to ‘Wait…what? How did he do that again?’ in a very short timespan ![]()
Compressor pedal, following my strong intuition that a little knobby thing will help my animal musician brain feel out how to use compression, particularly on drum machines, after fancy compression plugins didn’t click—despite my knowing intellectually what “threshold,” “ratio,” and the other parameters do. The inner musician never got comfortable with the plugs.
This might sound crazy to more systematic people, but I had exactly the same experience with delay—never clicked with VST delays, then got a humble Flashback X4 pedal, hooked it up to an Odyssey, and “got it” intuitively, re what to do with a synth through a delay.
Several big knobs (but not more than I can count on my fingers) seems to be the key feature to trigger enlightenment …
