What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 3)

would extremely unlikely ever buy it for regular price, but for $99 – sort of no-brainer.
intention: using & editing Zen-Core presets without MC-707/MC-101.

Seems that (finally) a manufacturer actually listened to what the customers want/need

Tama Pancake Jam, with silent cymbals from Millenium. I always wanted to have drums and learn to play, and now that I have the space to have it, plus an incredible sale on Amazon, I couldnt say no to myself.

Unfortunately not, I bought it last year and I believe it was a pricing mistake, cause I paid around EUR 150 for the 4-pieces set, but was delivered few monts after.

Ah, a stroke of luck, then! I’ve been eyeballing a similar set…

never planned these … and suddenly got them with 50% off at stock clearance sale.

clear & immediate intention: my couch setup deserves proper sound.
uncertain & distant intention: using them on the go.

I just got these as well. Really enjoying them so far. Nice packaging and the portability is great.

Caught a new job so more synths it is. Decided to go with space-first approach as a great deal for Jaspers ‘construction site type stand’ came up locally. Loving that I can comfortably use 49 keys again in my setup.

The seller told his wife is glad that it’s leaving and I can see why. Damn those german engineers, they really do know what’s up.

I got the 6 level angled version and just finished the last remodel/downsize for a while. VERY solid stands, though I ‘only’ use 5 levels, and the too two are opposing half/half configurations.

Revolutionized my space.

They are… large. No one with me to complain though, lol.

Nice. Got a jaspers myself.

I like it for the most part but didn’t realize that you have to damn near disassemble it to slide the individual brackets off.

I’ve found a way to kind of force them off but I am definitely straining the plastic.

I’ve thought of designing a backing ring that just fully disconnects so you can remove and rearrange them easier. Like a two piece ring instead of a full wrap around.

What u mean with brackets? Assembling definitely was annoying. I googled earlier about the arms and it said they are mountable without disassembling but I did slide them in myself.

I’m feeling bit OCD about its durability but it is actually unbelievably sturdy so it’ll be just fine! Even the plastic is very hard.

Sorry, wasn’t trying to shit on it.

I work as an engineering tech and have access to some fun stuff. Sometimes I convince myself things are broke just to find something to fix.

By brackets I meant the arms. A part of my issue is that I move things around a lot on my rack to change up workflows. Probably more often than I should. Also I like the play around with different lengths to get things just right.

I might have an older unit (got second hand) but my arms don’t remove other than sliding off the sides unless I remove the hex screw, and flex the hell out of the plastic one piece body that wraps around the pole. Even then I can’t do this by hand. I jam a hex key in the hole and flex the crap out of it.

It’s been ok the few times I’ve done it, but I can tell it’s not a great solution to be repeated over and over.

Ah, that does sound annoying. I tried to move them to good positions as I wasnt sure if they were removable without disassembly. Mine seem to be one-sided too but if I have to optimize something I will just buy these. Lazy

Hell yeah. Got a link? Are those official?

Might be available from elsewhere too, this was just the first google link searching for jaspers arms.
