What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 2)

That preamp sounds great when driven! Not gonna lie, I’m having a tiny bit of GAS thinking about some of those sounds I made on that synth before… It would be hilarious to get an ARP 2600 just to make kick drums. Lol

Buy it for the kick drums, keep it for the alien jungle ambiences.

I got the Polyend Tracker about a month ago. Still trying to learn it. Taking three classes right now, so I don’t have a great deal of free time.

I’ve read a couple literary works on NLP… good way to control your thought process/brain. I’ve found it helpful overcoming mild trauma. It’s supposedly helpful for dealing with stress too, but I didn’t have much luck with that. I probably just need to revisit it and practice.

Did you receive it like this (with something that looks like a scratch)?

No scratch, looks like a combination of lighting and smear on the smartphone lens.

Ordered a Warm Audio WA-8000 microphone since it went on sale today, which is their version of the popular Sony C‑800G. It will mainly be used on vocals, but other sound sources as well.

It is my fifth Warm Audio microphone purchase over the past couple months. Overall, the ones received have been great additions to my mic locker. Just waiting for the Warm Audio WA-251 to go on sale and a Shure KSM44A will also be purchased soon, and then I am done with microphone additions for the foreseeable future.
