I’ve literally said this, or at least thought it in all caps.

My digital walkman died after 12 years of good service
(probably cat DNA).
I had never dared but my phone does not have a headphone jack…
:face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Very pleasantly surprised by the sound, perceived quality, comfort and weight,
if you can still call it a weight.
Intention: mow my lawn (±4h) while listening to something other than brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Great … so maybe, when your earbuds are really great, you might like to mown my lawn too :grinning:

I have this thing to test (against my Hydrasynth). I only had time to browse through the Presets and something’s telling me that this is a keeper.

They look like something from an early 90s monster movie. Do they bite?

Let me just say: Black edition is stunningly beautiful. No regrets at all.

Scored an Elmyra Kit before it went out of stock… :sunglasses:

@nyppy I would love to stealth the device with a black button in place of the red one. Any idea where I could get one? Went through Mouser and Reichelt catalogs already.

Looking forward to building it and pairing w/ 2600 and some eurorack…

I buy them in batches of 2,000 from the manufacturer, don’t think they sell them individually. But drop me a PM or email with your address. I’ll send one over for free if you cover shipping.

Btw, shops will be restocked very soon, both kits and assembled versions. Shipments will be leaving next week.

MegaFM and a used Digitakt. Owned the megaFM briefly last year and felt like giving it another shot. Have owned a DT a few times over the years, was curious about the new machines. Have been balls-deep in Max programming most of this year so wanted a little setup that was simple and loop-y, when I want a break from complicated computer-y stuff.

Standing desk for work. Hit 40 recently and need to sort my back/posture out, as for me working involves sitting down for hours. Love it so far

Baldur’s Gate 3 for PS5. The interface feels a bit clunky at times, but all in all it’s a great game so far.

Got this small DJ mixer to select between my TT and tape deck for sampling and listening. Anything would have worked but I love the design aesthetic of this era of Vestax gear

What?: BOSS DR-532 battery powered multitracker
Whatfor?: don’t know yet, a song happened :flushed::smiley::crazy_face: quirky, not serious. After playing it back, I was reminded of many influences like Stereo Total, Gainsbourg, Voodoo Jürgens, Peter Licht, von Lowtzow (Phantom Ghost), Falco, Jimi Tenor and others. If I was an AI this would be copyright striked because of the training data. Quality could be much improved, and I can neither sing nor play the piano. But I had fun :star_struck: Love this machine and its OP-1 workflow and the sound (lowest setting).

Song is in German, starts like some soft erotic 70s thingy, gets Falco dark for some bars, then the narrator slips into complaining about insufficiencies of the German language. Wrong playing and going off topic align. Internal mic, one take. Used copy and multiply feature for the chord track. (Reface DX). Amp simulation has been applied when recording the DX (I think) and again when bouncing (stereo).

Great feature: it can send Midi-Clock and MMC!!! (and MTC). (Many portable multitrackers cannot - like the Boss BR-600, Korg D888, Tascam and Zoom portables). Synthpop I’m coming

Beautiful.

Every mixer should have a BNC lamp socket.
