What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 2)

Is that why it’s called Finnish

This might be the perfect conclusion for this digression, please start a new thread if you want to go on further.

Not a fan of the panel image (though it’s not that bad when obscured by cabling), but this does sound very very good for a decent price.

Intentions: folding those waves and overdriving them too.

Additional arrivals in today’s post - the 3D printing is quite rough around the edges, but they will probably look better with a little sanding:

Intentions: Protecting the Axoloti boards and proving a nice splash of colour, possibly in the form of a micro-stack of devices. Now to think about how to put a lid on the Axoloti with the Axocontrol board on top.

A Nord Rack 3…

Intentions: use it as the main workhorse synth of a live setup.

Ever since watching OoraMusic’s video on the Vermona Perfourmer last year I’ve been obsessed by the idea of a hands-on, multitimbral synth. I knew the Perfourmer itself wouldn’t work for me (I need chords and presets) so after doing some research, the NR3 with its four parts and LED encoders seemed to be the best (possibly only?) option.

Intention, listen to it while vaporizing.

Can’t go wrong with a NL. Waldorf Q/uQ, M, XT are also great and multi-timbral. Can’t remember for sure, but I think the Nova/Supernova are as well.

I’ve never owned a Clavia product, but had friends with them, and they were always more than happy with them. I always leaned Waldorf

I just got a heavy duty workbench with the weight+width capacity to handle all of my Moog cabinets. It was banged up during transport, but I can fix that later. For now, I am just pleased to have all of the cabinets out of their boxes.

A good table / desk is a wonderful thing.

Indeed. And it takes a sturdy table for those cabinets.

Light duty: laptop desk
Medium duty: wood shop desk
Heavy duty: Moog desk

I have low-key GAS for a welder’s table, but I mentally bucket that with my desire to have a warehouse space with a gantry crane with a 20k lb load capacity. For sailboat work. I really have no need for a welding table but they look so cool.

(the welders tables would be great for outfitting an industrial music studio)

Eventide Ultratap!

I used to think it was kind of stupid to pay boutique prices for pedals already included in the H9 Max that I also have as plugins. But this is a great pedal that sounds as fantastic with guitar as it does with the Nord Drum 3P. Also got it used but mint for a very reasonable price.

Currently using it to create weird noises with Nord Drum 3P.

I do have some of those, yeah. But I need them all because, you know, that bit about talent…:flushed:
