new windows for my apartment.
intention: winter is coming…
OP1 from a fellow Elekronaut.
Purpose:
Replace a Wavestate that was too big for my space.
Alternative / complimentary workflow to my MPC Live
See what all the fuss is about.
I purchased the MeldaProductions MComplete Bundle that comes with every plugin they ever have or ever will make. It’s currently 50% off, and I saved an additional 20% off with a referral code.
These are great. Already getting a big kick out of MMorph, MTurboReverb, and MPowerSynth yet there is so much more to discover. Feels like a lifetime of discovery.
I ordered a Sequential Prophet-6 Desktop today:
The Waldorf M was also considered and will probably be my next synth addition, but the Prophet-6 was ultimately purchased first due to its WYSIWYG interface and internal effects.
Upon arrival later this week, it is going directly into my revised Techno studio setup.
Love the Zildjian K series sound. The 0-CTRL will really bring out the nuance in it.
For sure. The K Sweet certainly lived up to its name. And the 0-Ctrl should really tie the room together. Come on Wednesday! Stupid tuesdays.
They make some really nice plugins. Try munison on percussion stuff. I love what it does.
Hi, new to the Elektronauts Forum, fooling around with Synths since 30 years now. Latest purchase was the Erica Synths Perkons HD-01. Intention is to play live with it and I love it so far I can say. Some stuff on Instagram.
Your early thoughts comparing the Perkons to the Rytm?
I have the Rytm MK2. It will not replace it that I can tell. The concept of the Perkons is amazing, the sequencer is fun. BD is punchy, but I love the analog BD of the Rytm. Perkons let me do unplanned stuff, creative tool.
Got a good deal on a System-1m
Originally my intentions were to explore a bunch of ACB’s vs their ZEN-Core counterparts while I’ve got a Roland Cloud membership — in particular the Juno-60. But I discovered too late the System-1s only accept the early plugouts and not the Juno/Jupiter/JX ones. So I guess… I’ve got a knobby SH-1 to play with for a while?
IMO the ACB stuff sounds a bit more interesting. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by it on several occasions.
This via bandcamp ,damn , what a nice vibe.
A fellow Elektronaut was kind enough to sell me their stuff
I’d wanted to give one a try for a little while and this was a good oportunity - gotta say I’m very impressed. Not just with the sounds but with the playability - I love my track mutes and the Rytm gives you them on crack. I have a suspicion this might be a keeper but let’s see how I feel after the honeymoon
It’s the best Elektron
Ya my buddy has the sys-8, sounds really good.
the old plugouts seem great though. Demos of the SH2 and System 100 sound superb actually
