You mean Scot “Can no longer open the door to his studio any more because of the crushing weight of equipment behind it” Solida?
The same.
I was using it to prop the door open. Lucky guess.
Bleen = 15? I thought bleen was the new number George Carlin discovered between 6 and 7.
I’m reading my manual as we speak. It is built like a tank
Feels surreal to actually have one. I thought it was going to be octatrack tier and really confusing but I had some patterns going very quickly. I’m honestly just buzzing, felt like I’d never come up on that list
Like the OT though am sure I’m just scratching the surface with the first jam. About to crack open the manual as well and get studying.
I include the peeled off sticker in the reverb sale
you won’t regret it!! i held off so long but it’s the best bit of gear i ever bought!!
Same, came so close to buying one but always went for something else. Had to happen and glad it did
I thought it was just a legend to make musicians dream.
Latest purchase was the plywood to make this desk for my tiny room. Also the doepfer mke for the custom keys and the x32 in the custom rack. I was hoping that making a desk that doesn’t fit anymore gear would prevent me from getting more gear but nope.
Late afternoon delivery… a lovely bunch IMO
- Erica Synths Bassline
- Erica Synths Dual FX
- Befaco Out V3
- Befaco ST MIX
Intentions: to fill up my first case tonight after the food delivery of course… KEEEEEEBABS
Looking good rob, When are going to start posting some jam sessions ? Cant wait to hear what it all sounds like in action.
enjoy ya Kebab and careful not to spill chilli sauce on it mate

That S20… Had one when they were new. What do you do with it, aside from get very lofi samples… I would assume the other Akai would take care of everything even bit reduction?
I love how fast i can sample with it, plus its the only sampler i have that can +/- 50 pitch. No fuss no frills just plug in my phone and grab random samples. I use the live to sequence it cause, as you may remember, the sequencer sucks on the s20 lol.
Pissed off mate that Befaco Out V3 is too deep for either end of the bottom row on the Tip Top Mantis
It’s the cable connector underneath FFS looks shit on the top row I wanted it for my headphones lol
It’s like putting a jigsaw together deciding where to put modules so patch cables aren’t a mess…
Modules everywhere mate ffs
Jam sessions? Too right mate as soon as I get a decent rig… got no LFO’s or Envelope modules yet but they’ll come. Happy to jam with drums for now
I guess you could put it on the top row and turn all the modules upside down and then turn the case upside down?!? Would that work? But Then Tip Top writing would be upside down then I guess , nightmare! Hang on in there, I’m sure you’ll find a solution.
ya man man…dont forget to check them specs…I wanted to sell my case and replace…I want NOTHING to do with Pittsburgh. unfortunately I have two modules that are too deep to make that change, and need to be mindful of power supply. I have power hogs. been waiting a long time for one with enough depth + juice. currently I find only one or the other.
thank you NGNY…I have more time to wait
I don’t think this is mentioned in the specs. You have to learn it on the street: https://www.modwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3450008#p3450008
It really is a big jigsaw puzzle situation. I’m sure you’ll find more things you like or don’t like as you move modules around and try different configurations.
Personally, I think the headphone module might be nice in the middle of a row somewhere — I’ve been trying to put my most hands-on modules at the outer edge of the case so they’re easy to reach, with the more set-and-forget stuff in the center (where it gets covered in cables). So, maybe it’s a blessing in disguise to move your headphone output towards the middle and free up some side space for modules you want to tweak more often.
