That’s what I intend to do. Create an independent Station with the Perfourmer, the OT and FX pedals (Microcosm, Delay and Reverb).
Just got the bitbox mirco from 1010music.
My intentions is to use it for sample playing, drone making, souncscape stuff, live looper. Also to multisample some of my VST’s to bring them in to the modular in a more stanalone way.
I think this is the perfect ‘sample expander’ for my Nerdseq sequencer since it has polyphony over midi as well.
Fantastic sampler - love mine to bits (pun intended).
Not quite a new purchase as bought it almost a year ago and then accidentally had it delivered to my workplace which I haven’t been near since lockdown started. Managed to get it posted on to me finally this week. So…a year late…a new overdrive pedal. Like all Spaceman gear it’s beautifully put together and sounds incredibly sweet and musical. Very very harmonically rich sound and a rather fine filter that I’ll have to get an expression pedal stuck into later today. Anyhow, it’s a nice surprise to have it many months later than otherwise expected. Like a gift rather than a purchase.
Yeah, the “stimmy” is definitely out there now. Stuff I’ve had for sale on reverb for months has all sold in the past few days.
Unfortunately ours went mostly to paying CCs down and other such. I did manage a couple of very small fun items though.
I think we should go the Futurama route, and call them “Tricky Dick Fun Bills”
I just had a reply from Vermona and the ETA for a Perfourmer is around 5 months.
Swanky red vinyl… thanks @blushresponse!
I love modular hiphop!
Ooh - I’m quite curious about those new walrus pedals. Please share when you’ve had a chance to dive in. I should check out the D1 (been on the lookout for a(nother) delay).
Sure I will!
BTW. the Matriarch is an excellent stereo BBD delay box…
your all white matching gear from different companies is sexy af
Any particular reason why this pedal and not any of thousand others? I’m asking bc i can decide which one to buy
Ordered some of these:
Intentions: Make my slightly older Lyra-8 function like a newer Lyra-8. It’s an on-off-on vs the older on-on design at the AND/OR position.
I was considering Strymon Big Sky, Empress, Eventide Blackhole and Red Panda Context2, but none of the demos I could find made me like the sound of these pedals. The Walrus R1 was an instant like on my side. So let’s see how it sounds in real life.
Spaceman stuff is awesome. One of my fave pedal builders. You can also use that expression jack with CV.
Nice, what kind? I just ordered a Keychron K4. It’s not hot swappable though and I hope that doesn’t end up being wanted later.
