What TV/movie/anime themes best capture the vibe of the show?

For me it’s ALL the CSI themes. Take the edit for CSI:Miami, having “Won’t get fooled again” sung at the start really sets the tone of each episode. I mean what better words encapsulate the mindset of a detective? Teardrop in House M.D. season 1 I feel captures the mystery of trying to find the cause of an illness. What are yours?

Incredible Hulk TV show ending music. Recently learned this on the flute. Such a sad, beautiful song.

Another melancholy one:

I am just rewatching The Wire again and especially the version of the opening song in season 4 is stuck in my head.

Maybe it‘s because it is performed by Baltimore teenagers that makes it especially hard hitting.

My favorite aspects of anime are often how little the ending themes reflect on the vibe of the show.

That said, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Roundabout- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuGAWR2eRyQ

which after several seasons has been… what’s the opposite of inside joke? One day I’ll put on Roundabout in my spouse’s presence and I will be flat out murdered.

I was at a party at a friend’s place, vibing and having some nice whisky/food and then I spotted the turntable.

2 minutes later the host chimes in “Oh hey, Roundabout!” and spouse near screamed. Needless to say they are not a fan of dudes in capes and bloopy doopy 1970s medieval themed wankmusic.
