Currently setting up my OT for live performance. Feeding in a drum machine and a synth and using T8 as master track with filter in slot 1 and compressor in slot 2. Why do you use on your master track and why?

I’ve been enjoying putting two compressors there, the second one with sharp envelope, max ratio and high threshold, acting as a sort of limiter, and the first one for normal compression and boost.
The cool thing is that because of the limiter-like setup you can actually safely play around with the gain of the first one and drive it pretty hard into the second.

Haven’t really done it much. But I like thatit offers 2x more effects to the other’s and definitely good to know of the limiter/compressor use case.

I am mainly using the filter distortion to up the gain on the mains out.
