I’ve just released the second half of the Digitone/Analog Four ambient collection I’ve been working on.
The EP is called Timelapse and you can check it out at Bandcamp

I made a short film about field-recording found sounds and turning them into a beat. In the film I use a lot of Octatrack MKII and Analog Rytm MKII. I really really loved making this clip!
Love the visuals, very nice!
I’ve been getting into video synths and learning how to work in that medium. I’m excited to see where it leads. Thanks!!!

Made from samples of a foghorn
I created a jam today in the morning. I’m in love with this setup.
In the beginning of all this, I thought I was gonna do a live set only with my OT and modular, but ended being overwhelming, too many “first times” at once. So I switched to making tracks almost fully in the box with some overbridged Digitone from time to time. Here’s a playlist of what I’ve done so far:

A transmission from The Interdimensional Bathhouse.
Just resurrected a 2008 MacBook. It runs Ableton fine! Gonna find some stickers for it.
Just a lil Digitakt sketch. Pretending to be a Digitone. Resampled the same waveform a bunch like Tinez showed and got some gritty lofi sounds out of an FM baseline.
Happy Video Game vibes
Kick/snare and 3 waveforms
Got the AK out, running through MicroLimiter #2
Adding Volca Drum with Harlow to it next week for more drums.
Another track featuring the DT and ETC.
Finally made something I’m happy with during this quarantine business
what the fuuuu…I dunno why…
probably more palatable without the stupid video [wasted time]
Super trippy!!! I like it.
Nice medicine cabinet.
Since day 1 of quarantine, have been going back to DJing
Mostly getting into the drambo iOS app, playing guitar and getting kinky on BDSM dischord channels
I think I have never posted any of my music here, but maybe someone is interested in what I’m up to when I’m not writing your favourite manuals
This is in some ways a very very simple song. Just one chord and some noises. But even though it is musically simplistic, I spent an unreasonable amount of time to get the sound design just right.
