Waldorf has something new coming apparently. VST? New synth? Reissue? Groovebox? It’s got the microwave dial in the teaser but other than that I haven’t a clue. Let the speculation begin.

Probably just me seeing what I want to see but the red knob/Microwave and the fact the previous teaser prominently displayed ‘sixteen voices’ makes me think it’s most likely the keyboard M.

Ah, didn’t know they were planning a keyboard M. Alright then. Could be interesting with some poly AT. I was kinda hoping they were about to drop something new and original like a groovebox microwave mixed with Nave. Bit that makes all makes sense.

They may not be, it’s just been requested since the M came out and the developer did say he’d like one to happen but it was down to Waldorf. It does seem an obvious gap in their lineup since the M seems to have done OK though.
There’s already been a 16 voice version of the M so I’m reading into that choice of patch name for the most part. 16 voices with the lovely keybed of the Iridium/Quantum MKII would make a lot of sense.
Based on the initial graphics of the video, I think they’re taking it upon themselves to make a proper sequel to Breath of the Wild

Though I suppose in-the-box folks will be happy. Wonder if their plugins are also standalone instruments.
I guess it’s easier than installing the emulated plug-in that’s been made .
I don’t know the actual differences between microwave 1,2, xt , and either plug-in.
all you need to know is the XT is the best one
