If you are mostly in the box may i suggest the MW1 plugin from Waldorf.
I have the M (though a M with non functional encoders) and honestly unless you absolutely want hardware you should just get the plugin. sounds as good and way less buggy than the hardware. IMO.

Not seeing the appeal of a basic wavetable synth in a box with a tiny screen and no envelope controls personally.
But I’m glad that other people seem excited by it and so I’m rooting for ya’ll.

Yeah from what I’ve seen there is absolutely nothing that excites me about this.
Somehow this always seems to go from well as long as it’s really only $300 I’m definitely buying it to hey guys check out my microwave.

Looks very neat, though I don’t care for the tiny screen. I’d rather the traditional 2-line LCD which I can read easily than something the size of an SD card. This was a turn-off on the Microfreak too.

They do, no sign of that plugin this year tho, might be too new for it?
I’m not sure how it compares to the Waldorf plugin but there’s also the DSP56300 Emulation project which can perfectly emulate the Microwave II

Oh well, I was just thinking the kitchen appliance is called a microwave oven and the concept of waves is not entirely alien to synths, so Microwave for a synth is fine. But yeah, got carried away a bit, yesterday. Sorry.
