Is this your advert or something?
not advertising. got an email from MI. so giving heads up to those who own the blo. i own one by myself so for me it’s a great news. are you suggesting i am posting in a wrong forum. or is there anything wrong with the content of the post?
Just a link, that then takes me straight to a payment page makes it seem a little touty.
I see where you are coming from. I could not find any better link apart from pre-order page with virtually no technical info. Feel free to provide an alternative link if you find one.
Not my place to find an alternative link fella. Probably better you put something in the post that says something more like ‘hey I found this cool paid for blofeld editor’
MIslands is the only one that I have found taking time to make Waldorf hardware a little easier to use. I plan to purchase myself for my mQ to make controlling it from the screen a little easier. I’m hoping patch management is good. I didn’t know that the Blofeld was capable of loading Q & mQ patches? Thats awesome! I have a few saved mQ patches from the olden days but dont have the Blofeld. If anyone wants them let me know. I don’t mind that a developer charges for software, especially if said developer offers support and upgrades for life. I practically threw my money at ImageLine when the software got good enough for me to use properly. I’ve had like 30 upgrades since then, every few months a surprise lands in my inbox and I get to go check out some new features
Its just the way the page is laid out. Price is at the top. No biggie IMO, scroll down to read details. If not, no worries.
thanks for the invaluable advice.
I’d love to have some of those patches! I always wanted a q, but ended up going with the blofeld instead.
Uncalled for.
You posted a link with no other information. Perhaps you can should reflect on how that might appear.
That wasn’t the point was it. The point was he posted a link k with no other information. That’s like me posting a link to a KFC bargain bucket. Context.
Completely disagree. There’s nothing wrong with the landing page for this thing to be posted. Relax.
I can deal with that, yeah point taken, there could have been more context, but still IMO its not that big of a deal. If you want to post some KFC I sure could go for some, context or not LoL. I’ll put up some of my mQ patches in a bit. @NUoldNu do you run a Blofeld? If you do I’d be interested to see how the patches work for you!
I contacted the dev today and he said by end of this week demo will be available. I truly believe that it will be the one which will unlock Blofeld full potential. In my personal view Blo being a very complex synth suffers from not being easily accessible to a user. I am talking about comfort not actual functionality. I am so glad it is coming.
@infekted and others, if you are interested I’ve zipped up some patches that I’ve collected for the mQ over the years. Please view the READ ME FIRST.txt file and then go for it. Hope they provide some inspiration and fun for whoever ends up with them.

that’s the spirit! thanks man
Sorry you got grief over your post. I appreciate it and i don’t even have a blofeld anymore. Even if you were the dev it would be helpful, and such as it was, a general public service announcement? How can that be anything but helpful?. These forums are in the spirit of sharing and learning. I had even been toying with rebuying a blofeld since there doesn’t seem to be another multtimbral synth as cool and cheap as this and this just sweetened the pie.
Really can’t figure out your problem. The context is that the OP thought his would be helpful to people in a forum where people are making electronic music. Blofeld is a widely-used piece of hardware that’s notoriously fiddly to program. A KFC bargain bucket is just food by a multinational corporation and posting a link to that would be out of context spam.
I want my blofeld back… loved the porky wavetable bass, bubbling water filter, Salty modulations, subby thickener, sugary pads, filter acidity regulator factor, mysterious gelling agent DAs, antioxidant user waves, old patch preservative, screen colour , humectant wtf?
