Ultimate Digitakt stands using VESA mounts

Nice! I think I might give that a try! Thanks!

I wanted something long like that. It doesn’t have the quick release though, but maybe I can come up with a mounting plate or something and still come in under the other one’s price.

I need to be able to take it out of the room sometimes. I may make an aluminum plate for it, with thumb screws. That way I don’t overuse the threads on the DTII, but it’s still solid, and relatively easy to take on and off.

Or I could just buy a second DTII. One for the studio, one for wherever I’m at otherwise. :smiling_imp:

I’ve got this, has nice plastic panels you can run wires through under the top arm. The panels tabs are a bit delicate though so be careful when you squeeze it to pop out. I broke 1

I’ve had this stand for a while but added a usb-c to barrel cord and battery bank attached with Velcro to the stand and it’s been great for taking around the house. 20+ hours of battery with no internal modifications and being easily replaceable is great

do you have a link to the stand and battery on hand?

Looks great. I’m assuming these are taller than the rubber feet on the digi boxes, so they can’t be placed level on a desk when not mounted?

Oh yes, definitely. They do go flat though, and are almost too stable and rigid.

Ah, ok, as long as it will sit flat on a desk this will work for me. My idea is to rotate between DT, DN, ST on the vesa arm with the remaining boxes sitting on a desk off to the side.

The plate is attached to the arm, and then screwed to the digis. Probably not ideal for your case?

Ah, apologies - I was referring to the quick release plates linked above by @Jacob.

Sorry, I’m on mobile and the reply was collapsed.

You know, I’ll have to check. I rarely take them down but when I do they sit in their protective lid inverted…

I know it’s a mixer stand but thought it was worth sharing. :grinning:

I have the same stand, fancied a 3D print project to use with it, so after many iterations I came up with this:

Holding up pretty well so far! It might bow/sag a bit but the silver steel rods used are pretty strong and rigid. Hopefully the 3D printed brackets are good enough to keep the hardware in place

Blurb

I set myself the brief of making the digis removable without unscrewing anything, still be useable standalone, and to actually be makeable with shop-bought bits, a bit of Blender learning and a small Creality 3D printer.

There are 6 printed brackets - 2 on the main stand plate (not visible but you can see the 4x nuts that hold them onto the mounting plate), and 2 on each digi. A steel rod that runs through all 3 brackets, top and bottom, and you can slide the digis off the mount and use them standalone without having to unscrew from the plate. The digi brackets also act as raised feet/stands when removed from the main stand (i need to get some small rubber stick-on feet for the digi brackets, as they’re a bit slidey on the desk at the minute)

Two full length brackets might be less prone to sagging than 4 shorter ones.

Edit… I may have misunderstood and can’t see too well as on my phone so apologies if I got the wrong end of the stick
