As @mynewcolour said above, it’s stiff (to the point of almost being difficult to adjust), but yeah there is some wobble to it. I can live with that though.
I’ll see how it goes at the upcoming gig

These use the VESA mounts: Company of Quail Diginest and Digiframe
I haven’t had time to sort out adding a battery or installing a powerstrip but there are a ton of cutouts for such things. Really really well thought out case/stand solution.
Wow that looks great.
If you’re thinking of going the power strip route the one in my post above should fit perfectly.
If I had any skills I could use the IEC hole that’s built in! But it also has screw holes to mount a power strip. It’s very flexible. I just need more time…
Holy crap, that’s amazing. Looks like the company’s website is dead. Are you aware of any retailers or somewhere I could get something like this?
Here’s a rack mount for both Digi boxes.
No idea what that big steel lidless box they are in is for in that papertiger post, seems like it just increases the vertical height of both boxes massively for no appreciable reason. Maybe if it had a lid, but it doesn’t seem to. The rack is sick though, my buddy has one. I have the 2-tier stand for both Digi boxes from Fraction, it is SIIIIICK!!!
Yeah, Fraction has terrific looking, high quality stuff. Only issue is that it will likely take quite a while to get to me from the UK and I’m not sure I have the patience lol
I don’t think it will, I used standard shipping from the UK to the west coast of the US and it arrived in only three days!!! I was shocked, figured it would take at least 2 or 3 weeks.
And they’ve gone out of business
3DWaves makes the most elegant desktop VESA stand IMO.
That looks like a nice height too! Thank you for sharing the picture.
Do you have a name or smth by ancy chance? These mounts look perfect and the ebay link you posted is down. Thanks!
I got one of these fellas - it’s a pretty heavy base, but it works perfectly for me. I put the DT on top of my Korg Radias KB. I can move the base so the DT is lifted higher for when I am programming\jammin’
I also got some 10mm ⋅ M4 Hex Socket Button heads. The bolts that came with the VESA stand were a little long, probably would’ve fitted ok, but I felt safer with the 10mm M4s
I bought a second hand Gravity SP1302 stand, and if the minimum height works for you, I strongly recommend it. As someone commented above, some of these monitor stands are really sturdy and they won’t move a bit. I have used this one with a Syntakt and even with a Maschine MK3.
Probably this is not the same model as in the picture because those looks lower. In my case I used it standing and it worked great. Bottom line: consider monitor stands with configurable height and inclination.
OR
https://shop.st3nd.com/ looks very interesting. They were at Superbooth with a bunch of different models and combinations and they look very stable.
Just found the VB 1000 from Mirai. They also sell a custom plate (VA 1060) attachment for the 100x100 VESA pattern—specifically mentions the Elektron small box products.
This stand was mentioned in another thread.
There are cheaper knock offs available, too.
There are vesa quick release devices that pair nicely with this application.
I did this with an APC40 quite a while ago on a moveable arm off my desk.
These ones are pricey, but look like they’d be cool. Quick release, full swivel, etc.
I was thinking I could swing the DTII out over my Gemini with this, instead of having it sitting to the side. I’d have to take some extra precautions with the mounting though. I wouldn’t want it crashing down on the Gemini.
I use these. Much cheaper ($30) and have had them for years!
