I didn‘t know he was making movies and TV stuff nowadays. The Coup certainly released some great stuff. „Me and Jesus the Pimp in a 79 Granada Last Night“ is a stone-cold classic. Will have to check this series out some time.

Really enjoying “Your Friends and Neighbours” with Jon Hamm - just finished Season 1. Perhaps it’s not the most original storyline (upstanding citizen turns to crime) - and it’s no Breaking Bad - but I’m finding it a fun compelling watch
I did have to Pause it to binge Season 2 of Beef which I loved

Thanks to this thread I finally got around to watching Peaky Blinders, and boy was that excellent (the new movie, not so much). Definitely one of my favorite TV shows to date, so thanks Elektronauts crew.

I have no words other than it’s deep, hard, and soft. Excellent. I’m watching the OV with S even if I can’t understand a word of Flemish/Dutch and I don’t have that level of French either.
The intro is taken from this song and music video and it captures the vibe completely (the music sounds better here).
Widow’s Bay on Apple TV is something special. Well executed horror comedy. Matthew Rhys is excellent, as he has been in everything I’ve watched with him in it.
Not spoiling anything, but they cover a lot of horror genres. It’s fun to watch a series that delivers something new in each episode. Not just plodding along to drag the plot over 10 episodes.

I finally got around to watching The Mandalorian and as a Star Wars and Boba Fett fan so far really enjoying it plus baby yoda is cute.
Plus I figured that I’d watch it before the new movie that just came out. Sadly the other series Book of Boba Fett is not as good.

Half-Man is currently on iPlayer in the UK. Best I’ve seen in a long time. So raw and powerful. Not for the faint hearted.
That show is too brutal for me! on eps 4 and have to wait until im in the right mood to finish the rest >.<

It’s well worth following to the end. You’re right it is brutal, I think it really shows the fear and intimidation that violence or the threat of violence can bring about. I found it hard to watch in places but I’m glad I did. It also shines light on the harm that neglect can bring about too.
Recently discovered Bored to Death on HBO.
IMO, the best comedy series since Arrested Development. Deserved more seasons. The writing and cast is spot on.

It’s the closest thing to a Wes Anderson detective TV show. Ted Danson’s character is his second best part ever.*

I had never seen The Wire and holy shit that was some quality tv. I’m pretty sure I watched the whole series in a couple weeks. Heartbreaking show.
