Iām surprised Sneaker Pimps havenāt been mentioned yet. This isnāt my favorite song of theirs but Becoming X is such a solid album, and one of my favorite sonically. Every track has a quality I really, really like.

Modern Trip hop would be artists like Ellliot Power, HTDA, Allflaws.
All the big names seem to be from the 90s.
As for making that music I canāt help with that sorry.
