Wow … perfect - just what i need. But out of stock … ![]()
They seem to be in stock now, and there are several colours
Did anyone open his T1? I had an electrical fault and something shorted with the T1 and the usb midi also, but the rest is all good ![]()
Torso told me it’s gonna be 250euri for a new board, which is like half a new T1, so I’m on the fence. Will open it if there is a chance to fix it, sounds like something blew up but nothing too bad as usb power works, and even the WiFi hotspot is working xd
I havent opened mine but mine died about a year ago. I sent off and got a new PCB fitted for 100 Eur. 250 seems quite high but guess depends how good your diy skills are. Mine was toast so got it replaced.
New 2.1 firmware just dropped: T1 changelog
New features, enhancements and bug fixes, including the much requested Project save / load.
First update since 2023, glad to see it’s still getting some love!
Thanks for the head’s up. Project save through the config app is welcome. Looking forward to digging in.
Yep, a few other tweaks as well, additional voice patterns, new options/features for the FX tracks, etc. Nothing that fundamentally changes the device but in my opinion, the save function was really the only major missing feature.
I’m working the T-1 now and damn if the whole thing doesn’t feel snappier, too. Bonus!
The fact you can now lock a randomized sequence per parameter is a major improvement for building compositions - lets you explore variations and grab what works while further changing the rest. Can’t wait to try it out.

My T1 makes an happy new possessor
Nice update, though I’m surprised they haven’t fixed Harmony which simply does not work properly. Ugh.
Had to sell mine as I wasn’t using it much and I needed money. Think it may be a bit more useful for those with analog setups that want a dedicated device for randomly sequencing.
Yeah, I never got comfortable with harmony either.
Looking forward to trying the new stuff out but also the opportunity to save and load is great.
Anybody tried op-xy with torso t-1?
Is anyone in possession of t1 and an oxi one, and prefers the t1?
Im on the fence to repair it, or buy an oxi replacement ![]()
Yes the knobbing action is cool, but the generative and chord Melodie’s stochastic stuff looks really cool on the oxi one.
The t1 guy said on the discord that this pretty much is the end of life update to the t1… which is kinda sad as I think there is a lot of potential in this device, but I think it stopped selling so they just fixed a bunch of stuff, and they want to concentrate on s4 as this is the money maker.
I had both, sold the Oxi One and kept the T1.
The T1 is just a sofa noodling / experimenting device for me, connected to my iPad, so maybe I just didn’t need all the extra features and complexity of the Oxi.
I find the T1 simpler/quicker to use, and its slightly odd workflow means I come up with stuff that I might not come up with otherwise.
The Oxi was a great device though, solidly built, small, battery powered, and like you say, all that lovely stochastic stuff. Lots going for it.
I’ve had the T1 a few times and I do like it cause it’s so quick to start doing stuff and with all the randomization you can come over with some really cool stuff. if I have a normal sequencer I still like to have the torso to do generative stuff. Oxi is great but torso is just super quick.
