signal confirmed!
Well that was somewhat short-livedâŠ. It sure what happened, it was on and working fine, I actually did two quick recordings and was in the process of trying to post them here actually, but after initially using the USB mode to dump some samples, it wouldnât connect again when I tried downloading a recording.
I unplugged it, hoping for a reset, but now it wonât turn back on. Screen seems to work, it looks backlit when plugged in, but it doesnât seem to go through startup.
I contacted support but if anyone else has any ideas or has seen this, please let me know.
What do you think of the effects quality?
I feel like so far I have tried only on bad sound sources so canât really judge well.
I find it a bit weird though is the choice of 3 parameters dedicated to noise, but maybe they work together in a certain way that makes sense to have them.
Thanks for posting this. I wonder if you could answer a question for me. I have asked in several places, but not had a reply. Is the 6 min sample buffer for material device shared across all 4 tracks or does each track have a full 6 min buffer? Thanks
Great demo, thanks.
I donât know. Did you also ask the question over at discord?
Couldnât figure out how to get an invite to the discord
As far as I recall, this question has been asked many times on Discord, and was never answered. So either the Makers of Torso donât know or donât want to talk about it.
I myself have not tryed it yet, but would think 6 min. for all tracks sounds realistic.
You broke inside a nicely assembled brand new sampler? Cool bolts and nuts by the way, look pretty sturdy
not mine I donât have a s-4 yet. I will order mine later
Thank you. Much appreciated

The reverb sounds very good in my opinion. The algorithm seems to be more on the modern side.
The delay is simple. The spread offers 2 different characters. I like that very much.
The colour section is the real champion.
Everything in there sounds great and the graphics are simply brilliant. The three noise parameters are simply explained. The first controls the amount of noise. The second is the decay of an envelope follower that controls the level. The third controls the bandpass, which determines the colour of the noise.
Fewer faries and less pixie dust than I was expecting.
After some months of wondering what the S-4 is⊠it seems like it is carving a new path.
An FX mod-manglooper?
From 7:30 onwards here Iâm hearing '68 - '71 Floyd in a box.
I like the modulation a lot, but canât gel with the destruct fx yet
