Agreed. I genuinely don’t understand why this has not been added
I agree but the real benefit of zooming in is more encoder parameter resolution.
The parameter knobs are very high resolution already if you turn slow so despite zoom not being available I can still get the job done.
But yea they should just add zoom lol it’s kinda silly
Added. Renaming functionalities.
But it doesn’t seem to work.
I tried File > Instrument > Rename
and SAMPLES > SD CARD > USER > Multi-sampled Instruments > Rename
Name change isn’t effective, even after reboot. Anyone did it successfully?
What is the behavior if you export and re-import?
Well that’s good to know it’s being addressed, but a shame that it’s not working :-/
Hopefully soon
Please tell me the random name generator came up with that.
Didn’t try. Different from renaming…
I thought to have read somewhere that Elektron was exploring a low-power (read: voltage) mode when using TV or maybe I got it wrong.
Auto Sampler random name generator originally named it Flavorful Grab.
Yesterday I noticed the Func + Settings combo to generate random names. Rarely convinced.
I’d add an S and a B to this one :

yeyyy thanks for the quick fixes @Elektron!
Bug fixes
The Wavefinder SRC machine’s parameters did not have any MIDI CC mappings.
It was not possible to access full parameter ranges using NRPN-based MIDI messages.
The VU meters on the Recorder page were not rendering consistently.
Certain Bus/Send/Main FX parameter locks were not working as intended.
Exiting PERFORM mode could unexpectedly unload samples of an instrument previously loaded to the pattern.
Loading a project could unexpectedly change sample assignments of loaded instruments.
Choke group assignments for Subtracks SRC machine subtracks were not being saved with the preset.
Samples and wavetables located in the root of the SD card that were loaded to the project were not displaying a slot ID in the Sample Browser.
In some circumstances, loading certain presets could cause the device to become unresponsive.
The Song row’s LENGTH parameter did not override the reset length.
MIDI NRPNs were unable to reach the full range of certain parameters.
The HP.MON parameter was being reset to its default value instead of keeping its previous value after a Pattern Recall/Paste.
AIF sample files did not show up in the Sample Browser.
Subtracks could appear as muted in songs in projects created before version 1.3.0, even when no song row mutes had been applied.
Thanx for these fixes! ![]()
