Just loving this machine so far, the firmware updates are creating a layer of trust that feels like a true product roadmap. In any case, not trying to stir the pot but as a mainly live user, I find myself dreaming of something.
Detented or Haptic knobs, as an upgrade or Limited ed? I find myself wanting to “throw” the knobs, volume/levels included, to whip effects or moments.
Got me thinking that a Detent would be nice, but even better would be Haptics. An example would be like on some of the Blackmagic gear (Hyperdecks), where the knob is “momentarily” and “contextually” locked, lockable. It’s an incredible feeling.
Imagining being able to set a momentary lock (like the “memorize/recall” pair) and you could hammer at it (from clockwise or counter) for a bit.
sometimes it’s been tough to “get any level back” because of how sensitive the knobs are. this is a feel thing, minor, just felt like mentioning because the software seems to be going in a great direction.
