These are available as parameters in both single player and subtrack machines as well as in the sampler workflow
I vote for this six fonctionnaly.TV definitly would bĆ© a killer machineš
Please please please make the Undo functionality work like common sense would dictate ![]()
Just ācleared locksā on a track by accident, pressed undo full of hope⦠Nothing⦠aaargh
I just got very surprised that it is not possible to assign Main LFO depth to Performance Macros on Single Player machines.
This is such an essential feature for any Elektron box I think.
Another feature request - in your elmulti and eldrum file format - provide an option that will disable velocity to vol setting for the track so that you donāt have to turn it off when load an elmulti file that has its own velocity mappings.
Thatās one of the main reason I use an external sequencer like OXI ONE MK2 or T1. Being able to sequence modulation lanes and (in the case of OXI) sending MIDI LFOs to the MACROS is such an important part of sound design I still donāt get why Elektron does not allow to do this.
To be honest the whole MACROS feel sidelined by Elektron in every other Elektron except A4 & Rytm. Why donāt they have a dedicated shortcut to reach them all in one place? Why canāt we have a PERFORMANCE page like A4 on other Elektrons? Why are they deep into a SUBMENU when you have to constantly switch back and forth to adjust them? It makes no sense.
I solve this with a dedicated MIDI CONTROLLER (Faderfox PC12) mapped to the MACROS and you can still do MIDI LOOPBACK, obviously, but when you have it rigged with other machines is such a pain to make it work.
But, back to the TONVERK feature request:
We want a dedicated PERFORMANCE page to MAP MACROS with, A4 style. And a dedicated MACROS page in each track to instantly reach for those wonderful MACROS.
Wondering whatās up with this.)
My top FRs are Perf mode, more temp save/load options like on the other boxes & kits, then itās an all-round champion little box.
Oh anon40970060 I missed that.
Well, I donāt want to put my hopes too high but this could be a gamechanger.
This is more for all Elektron devices except Octatrack than just for Tonverk:
Sync Trig mode for LFOs (LFO is tempo synced, starting with the track, not just with trigs) would be very helpful. I donāt really understand why they all donāt have this feature.
Maybe Iām being dumb, but it seems this can already be done; Tempo sync exists, just not āstart with barā but you can p-lock the retrig to the first step, and have that play only once using conditions (edit: or, hah, just live with the sequencer retriggering at the start of your pattern, but only at the start)⦠It should retain the phase relationship without needing further triggers.
p.s. If the issue is the conditional lfo trig being on the same step with a ānote onā at the start of the bar, you might be able to use the second step and microtime it backwards.
Like you Iām not speaking Tonverk specific. My experience is in the Digitakt 2, Octatrak, A4, Machinedrum and Model machines.
Might be a helpful discussion: LFO - How does it work? - #6 by ckl
Which is much more complicated that a single mode on Octatrack (Sync Trig mode, synced to patternās beginning). Btw it has its limits if you want a cycle longer than patternās lengthā¦
Technically d2000 wasnāt asking for retriggering at all, so cycling longer than pattern length could be accomplished by using a one time conditional trig. The issue there becomes everything else associated with that initial trig, and becomes unworkable if you need note on information with both the first and second step.
Not trying to tell d2000 his request is silly, just giving a helpful alternative if he hadnāt thought about it.
Just saying Octatrackās Sync Trig mode is much simpler, should be on all Elektrons.
There are a couple of janky ways to get the effect, it would just be a lot more pleasant to click the ātimestretchā button and set a length in bars. ![]()
I feel like a lot of things we feel are missing arenāt meant to be missing forever so keep asking for these things imo.
I hadnāt seen that either, my hopes are high now, that would be great if so!
On the Mix track give us a second FX slot and a proper EQ effect so that we can have a master EQ and master Filter. This seems essential.
Also a beat repeat effect would be a nice addition to this box for the Mix track or on a bus/send as well.
I would really appreciate better backlight color indication for buses and sends . Yellow for Buses and Orange for Sends are not different enough and on my TV all looks rather yellowish to white like tracks 1-8. In dark itās challenging to select the correct one. ⦠would prefer different enough colors / scheme then is used now. Should be easy to implement.
A proper, dedicated beat repeat would be welcome, but I think the degraderās freeze and stutter is aiming to cover this ground.
Hmm⦠I often do beat repeat with delay in the Octatrack. I wonder if the TV can be set to do the same, with judicious p-locking? (waiting on mine still).
You might be right, maybe with a bus punch in effect and some delay + lock trigs. I havenāt quite got that working but itās possible. Still that would require a bus effect with everything routed to it just for that which is a bit annoying. A second fx slot where you could insert it on the master is more desirable imo
