I tried to play with it just by swapping the sample on the example project for one that would be easier to detect parameter changes. I think it’s currently doing nothing even in that project, no parameter caused any kind of difference in sound for me regardless of sample used.
Seems like Elektron may have low-key confirmed this is coming.

Good call! I didn’t see that thread because it doesn’t have the Tonverk tag and I just filter on here by that as it’s my current baby.
Yeah I have figured Tonverk was very obviously the place they’d rather have a granular function. Between the polyphony, effects focus, and processing power it seems much better to have granular on the flagship expensive sampler rather than try to hack werp mk2 to be more like real granular.
