I think there is maybe the husk of an in-development Granulator FX in the 1.0 firmware factory presets the Tonverk came with. I just went to factory pattern 6 “Titled”, and bus 9 is set to an effect called a Granulator which doesn’t appear to have any effect but has all the knobs in place. It is available only as a bus effect, and doesn’t appear listed on the other factory patterns I looked at. Seems to have a lot of nice control, so hopefully this is something that is coming soon ![]()
See you later, granulator!
Stop it! You’re taking away one of the things people who don’t own it can criticise it for not doing.
Tasty detective work.
Hah thanks! I was just playing with presets getting used to the new interface and did a double take when checking what the FX were set at.
Let me know if you find a physical modelling engine please
If people are interested (of course you are), the controls are: density, size, pitch, shape, repeat (between 1-8 value), scan (+ or - 2 max), and interestingly mode which has chord, arp, shift, and random.
Anyway of course since it’s something not finished, who knows if/when it comes, but really hope so!
Nice find! ![]()
will probably come soon if its already in a preset… Perhaps this was a part of what that note in the box alluded to?
Well that’s a an Easter egg and a half
Interesting to see that it’s an insert as well, as the new delay and reverb are only available as send effects. Hope this eventually makes it to the machine.
A leak in the wild is precious. I bet it’s a win for Elektron too.
Excellent catch! It just had to be! There’s too many telltale signs ![]()
Hell yeah. So happy I ordered it then…
Call me suddenly highly interested in this machine ![]()
Excellent find!
now if only there was a way to timestretch this here granulator
/jk
I think you should be able to get cool timestretch FX by modulating the scan parameter with a ramp LFO.
put this guy on the beta team
Thanks for posting this. Was really hoping for another granular effect that had scan. Excited about his one. Bus only. Or bus and mix? I guess you can’t tell based on just the linkage.
