yes but you can’t drive your car in the club or studio
Unless the studio or club is even more expensive ![]()
How is the latency though? Is it on par with a dedicated audio interface by Focusrite?
This is the original Wing with 48 inputs and 48 outputs enabled on my Mac Studio M2:
At 48k with 32 sample buffer size but about 10% more CPU hostage:
Another option that might fill the void for some (it’s going to be my new main live mixer)
A deep dive into the beautiful Union Audio Elara 6, designed by the legendary Andy Rigby-Jones. What an incredible mixer to play with.
See there is an Elara 4 mk2 on the way soon and the OG is being heavily discounted by union audio
Will look forward to checking this video out later. Looks like 8 channels and 3 aux sends. Sounds expensive! Love the silver finish.
That AKM1 mixer does look awesome for gigging and performing with. I hope success for this project
This looks very interesting ![]()
That’s bit like ssl SiX on euroids.
Hmm, would pay a bit extra for the extra flexibility of aux pre/post switching. It’s all post, so fine for mixing, not as great for toolbox.
Still only 2 stereo inputs!
I guess if you don’t need two stereo returns you could repurpose one of those, at least.
It’s definitely lacking one or two bits but I think it’s the closest thing I’ve seen to the sort of mixer many have been wanting for years. I’m surprised it has two stereo sends as well*.
*Edit: They’re not stereo lol
Hmm, i heard it in Daves video, while i think it sounds very good - the xone 96 has a litle bit more utility with two inbuild sound cards imho.
So its either EQs but no aux sends? (OTO Bébe Cherie)
Or, Aux sends but no EQs? (Pittsburg Assembler)
It’s a bit deceptive - all sends are mono.
Oh yeah, I thought I’d looked it over pretty well too ![]()
