Lots of lovely tracks here, enjoying listening through them all

I appreciate this guy, Agent Orange. A lot of his tracks get played by DJs like Carl Cox and others. BUT…check out these interviews he does with producers. He talks about the track, does a mini remake, then interviews the producer. Really cool stuff. Might spark some ideas for you guys :+1:t4:

Pioneer DJS-1000 again - sampling tracks and cutting them up. Then jamming them out. Straight out the box. More practice and I think I found a new process

Ok, so here is a first attempt at a house jam. Completely made on Ableton Move.

This was 95% recorded at the dinner table with a DT & Evolver. Additional modular track was added the next day. While I don’t usually make tracks of this nature, this one just happened. Enjoy.

Comparing the DJS-1000 to the MPC3. The MPC3 has a lot more control and the potential for details for sure - but both are great for house. Digging the MPC below though

Sampled some records and cut up some vocals -

Limited myself to one session to try and crank out something in this vein. Sounds from Ableton stock sounds & a smattering of plugins. Samples from Mars 909s on the drums, and a cheeky 90s CD vocal on there as well. Builds and drops from Shaperbox and used the stock Ableton DJ devices to do some automation.

Recently got the Our House expansion for Massive X so decided to testdrive it a bit. All melodic sounds are Massive X presets. Drums a mishmash of TR-8, Syntakt & foley.

Think it just needs some kind of vocal chop and then it’s a track

Nice, I dig this.

@holonology There’s potential here! Keep it up!

Thank you for starting this thread. I can just hang out here, listen to house, make some house and talk about how house is made without all the extra curricular activities :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sorry people, these are pushing it into the harder house side but I’m thinking a house DJ might play them

Im truly blessed to have collected some samplers with sequencers over time and these little jams come from Pioneer Toraiz SP-16.

For the second one, I sampled a sequence from my DT2 and both include sampled records from my collection.

The Pioneer’s are a little limited in terms of sequencing longer beats so I bounced the tracks to audio loops and dropped them into Ableton to make these 48 bar beats.

Massive house head here. Think everything I do is influenced by it but rarely straight up house. Here’s a sort of hypnotic house track?
