The Digitakt Feature Request Thread

Even if you already have trig’s you can plock the first step of the LFO for retrig (either on the LFO page or the trig page). But I generally agree that it is more fiddly than I would like so I don’t do it that often.

In that case the LFO will retrigger every time the pattern cycles. The point of the 1st condition on a trigless trig is to have the LFO start from the same point every time you start the sequencer and then keep running freely with no retriggers.

Yes that makes sense. I normally use this to make tempo synced modulation anyway, so the fact that it always resets on the pattern start is alright.

Yeah, I work with long LFO cycles for some elements that might stretch over the pattern length so this comes up often. For shorter cycles it works well right now!

pitch bend! Mod wheel! CC!AT!
Please! Please!Please!

Add a sound settings menu, since dt is the midi brain in the most of digi trinity setup user, it is no sense to unable use pitch bend and mod wheel of any input devices, at least add them to midi track!

The ability to load a clean project without any samples. Every time I start a new project, I have to hit Settings, Samples, Yes, Left, View Ram, Yes, Right, Right, Select All, Yes, Down, Down, Down, Down, Unload, Yes, Yes, No, No, No. So, yeah, it would be nice to have an option that doesn’t load those stock samples in the first place. Please

Please please please zoom on the sample source page. Hold the SRC button (similar to func+track for the keyboard scale functions) to use the A, B, C, and D encoders to zoom in/out or move start/end points similar to the upper portion of the sample cropping screen on the input.

I want to be able to use every last hundredth of my encoders. It’s easy to get close by ear, but getting it exact would be really helpful.

Fixed settings for the bit and samplerate reduction. Same as the fixed timing of delay (func + knob) 16-12-8-4-2 bit, 36-22-11khz etc

Oh yes, simple to implement, no extra UI mess, and very useful. Love that.

:point_up_2:

Would be nice to have a trig condition CHG, which would be enabled when activating a pattern change. I always run out of fingers when trying to play a fill while switching to a new pattern.

That’s a pretty cool concept!

A Turing feature

I’ve been wanting something like this for a long time. Combined with the 1st condition you could do some really great transitions without needing to make extra patterns.

this is a really good idea

Also would be cool to have an additional modulation source A<>B, which would correspond the fader position on a connected Octatrack. I believe that would be CC48. Easy way to implement this in the UI would be to offer it as one of the waveforms in the LFO page.

That’s a brilliant idea, would be super useful!
