I’m not aware that there’s any issue with the filter on those … are you sure you’re not referencing the resonance ‘fade’ issue with the K-2 Mkii, that’s very obvious … but i hadn’t seen anything on the MS-1 (which sounds outstanding in Mki form fwiw)
If the original filter had this (minimoog) kind of bass response to added resonance then i expect they followed that path, if that is the case they’d never change it (even though they’ve added token ‘extras’)
I’m awaiting news on the interwebs that they have done something with this on the K-2ii … until about January it was the same story - but there’s a fresh batch just in recently, so it may be sorted
About 6 months ago wineandsynths did a review of the mk2 on youtube and pointed out an issue of note priority when comaparing it simultaneously with his sh-101. Has behringer updated this issue? I may be wrong, but i think one or several of behringers other keybed synths have this issue too.
Either way, i still want one, as with many of their other clones i havent scooped up yet.
Christophe is excellent ! He is very musically creative, and yet his reviews go clear to the core of the issues. And if there are shortcomings with a synth he finds them.
Somebody at Behringer must be subscribed to his channel. It was only a couple of days after Christophe reviewed the Wave ( post ), that Behringer announced they were working on improvements to firmware to address the issue.
I had watched that video but couldn’t recall the issue. As far as I can tell there hasn’t been any shipments since then, at least not UK bound … Behringer aren’t super communicative, so reading posts on other forums is a way to perhaps glean anecdotal info.
BTW, the reason the price is different is the Trump Tariff. USA retailer just bumped a lot of the Behringer prices ( the stuff that is coming into the country ) by a lot.
I’d love a world where every company put that disclaimer big fat front and center on the pages and cartons of each of their products. So that as many people as possible see what direct influence their vote has. And that it does make a difference who’s governing.
I was wondering why the Spice went from $249 to $289 here in the states overnight. Well, I wasn’t wondering for more than a few minutes when I put two and two together.
