This guy has somewhat of a point. Why are the photos of the synth with a different screen? It’s on the Behringer site, it’s on Sweetwater, it’s on Thomann, etc. etc.
dude is PISSED
Imagine being so obtuse about a product that should costs thousands of dollars. THATS THE COMPROMISE YOU PAY FOR
I’m just here to say I appreciated your story and the chance to learn a bit of faux German I’m adding to my vocabulary.
Danke!
EDIT: Sorry, I thought this was someone else…
If you look at his video history, they don’t look like clickbait at all to me. I’d say this is misinformation.
While I agree there’s nothing wrong with B using a lower-cost screen, I also understand the gripe if all the marketing materials / product photos show a high contrast white display and the product comes with a wack ass bright red display. Those are aliexpress tactics.
Yeah you are right, I saw the icon and thought this was some other channel that I really dislike.
Sorry’bout that.
Now you see it you want a black screen.
Sad news !
Dan Clarke ( Burton ) died very suddenly over the past weekend.
I so much enjoyed his videos, and loved the musical presentations he gave for Behringer synths. I will miss his presence with those.
Very sad. Life is a gift. Love life.
Wtf that young kid? Man life is so fragile. I loved his enthusiasm and he was a gifted keyboardist as well.
Young guy, terrible news. Thoughts with his family.
Whoa, he is too young.
I also enjoyed his demonstrations. I’m not familiar with his music but I’m sure he will be missed.
I’m wishing the best for his family and loved ones.
Hes worked with Howard Jones last year live on stage. And other big names
Alto Music must have had a bunch of shipping containers make port - they’ve got the Syncussion, MS-1 MKII, MS-20 knockoff MKII and others in stock that I haven’t seen available anywhere else even outside the US.
Man that’s terrible news. Death is especially sad when it’s someone who appears to be so full of life.
As Niko has posted elsewhere, it looks like the RS-9 is nearly ready to ship.
This should provide an interesting option as a drum sequencer. This ( older ) picture shows it with the Brains module which can provide a range of percussive instruments.
What would the RS-9 be missing from the RD-9?
Edit: I see now, this is a eurorack sequencer kind of like the Erica Synths sequencer.
This is just the sequencer part i think.
This SynthAnatomy article has some details :
