Its a sequencer. Not a eurorack 909

Yeah, in this case it looks like they are trying to take on the Erica Synths Drum Sequencer module, though not an exact clone or anything.

Looks like a clone that tries not to look like a clone too much. :innocent:

Will the RS-9 have dynamic trigger CV gates ? That mean having trigger gates at different voltages for different sounds.

The Syncussion accepts dynamic triggering, i’m pretty sure.

Damn, just bought an Erica Drum Seq. One of my gripes is that it doesn’t have MIDI out, and the MIDI in is super basic. This appears to have both midi in amd out . Oh well. At least I spread the wealth. Will probably still pick one up. Drum machines and sequencers are my addictions.
What’s the pricing?
Bright side, the Erica Seq, does have 16 triggers and 12 accent outs, couple lfos, and cv/gate out (which B probably also has). Still, love these little sequencers with the og keycaps.

Original target was $150 USD. They had to bump it to $180 along the way. I don’t think a final price has been set, but you get the idea.

Also this isn’t a clone of the Erica product ( source SynthAnatomy ), but a simplification on their RD-9 product. There are no doubt similar origins for both, and i believe the Erica product proceeds it by a little.

It does. I’m currently working on something that exploits that trait

Well, looks kinda nice actually. Maybe something to use with my drum boyos, since the price range is nice.
I would like to have a central sequencer for all my drums; alright sure, i use BitWig, but it´s not specialized for drums… One sequencer to bind them all would be great!

stuck in the 90’s…

Got mine today. It’s fantastic, especially for the price. No complaints, but again, my wants and needs are very simple. I have the Erica drum trigger equivalent in the techno system that one is sleeker and more fun to press and more powerful, but much more expensive.

I was wondering how those two compared.

@ddiamond84 or anyone else – any further thoughts on the RS-9?

The 10 tracks look perfect for sequencing the Vermona DRM1 which has (8 + 2 variants of h-hats) and I have an extra 60hp case I could throw it into.

Seems like the couple of youtube reviews complained about lack of good documentation. Have you been able to figure it out for the most part?
